I just turned 68 and your video popped up. By end video my attention was peaked because i started junk journaling not to long ago and love it. Like you, I've done a ton of things over the years. Crafts, gifts with wallpaper (fans), placements (butterflies), crocheting rugs, throws, scarves. Many gifted promise pillows from decorative handkerchiefs hand stitched with scriptures of promises tucked inside and blessed miraculous medal. Poety, writing still love so many things rich simple life. Looking forward more of your videos.
Wow, we have done lots of similar projects. I appreciate you watching & commenting. I’m glad you liked the journal part because I’m planning my next video to be mostly about journaling and junk journaling. Your promise pillows sound amazing. Unfortunately I’m not able to hand stitch my pillows as well anymore due to arthritis which is probably from stitching so many pillows. You mention so many great things. I hope to keep your interest. Maybe you should consider starting a RUclips channel. 😊 Have a happy & safe New Years!
Well welcome to the RUclips world. I’m glad you joined in. I hate my teeth and my nasal voice also. I just turned 60 and I have meet so many people through RUclips. I just subscribed to your channel and can’t wait to get know you better.
Your video was suggested by YT and I'm glad it was. I love your junk journal, it is fabulous. I hope we get to see more of your arts and crafts. I enjoy junk journals, art journals, writing journals and lots of other crafts.
I’m so glad too! I really appreciate your telling me what you like too. It encourages me to work on content that people want. I love those type of things too!
I just love your stories. I too love the old ways of making things. It took more time but it left a person with... I will call it...personal creative joy and satisfaction. Sometimes I feel that things are too easy for people these days. Keep up the good work with your videos. They are so enjoyable.
Thank you for the compliment! I agree I think investing a little more time & work into a gift makes it a lot more meaningful. You can put you own spin on it as well. Thank you again for your kind words!
hi i think your channel concept is cool, and it's nice that you're starting your journey personally, i dont mind what age someone is as long as the content is interesting getting a new mic shows you're committed, and new equipment will come as part of your journey two things i think could be good for you are: 1. keeping videos about 10-12 minutes so people aren't intimidated by sitting down for 20-30 minutes a video. this is know as short-form content; 2. focusing each video on a different thing, and then make series/playlists of the most popular content. you mentioned hydroponics, bee keeping, and other niche stuff that people can never experience outside of youtube, maybe some of those could be your foci. the transition at 6:17 was funny and had comedic timing especially with the sound effect, more of that would go far too. see you next vid
You’re exactly right about shorter videos! My daughter told me that too. I’m going to work on that. I love all of your tips & really appreciate your taking the time to tell me. Thanks for the encouragement as well.
So glad I watched your video. I've been wanting to make and post videos for a while now. All kinds of fear has been holding me back, it's time for me to stop making excuses!!
I’m so glad you did too! I’m also happy that maybe I encouraged you a little. Go for it! It’s really a rewarding feeling! Thank you for commenting & I hope you go ahead & start!
Ok Sister are you talking to me and encouraging me to do the RUclips videos? Love your stories as you were doing the craft! Some I hadn’t heard! I saw the door one morning before you got up and didn’t know you had the video out there! I love it!
Hello friend! Good to see you again and to hear your ideas for future videos. I have been keeping a spiral "journal" of sorts. There are so many Bible passages and various quotes from some of the devotional reading I do that I wanted keep handy; so I have been doing some of that throughout the year this year. It helps me to quickly find something to jot down in a card for instance to comfort or encourage someone. And as good reminders for me too. Your idea for leaving special journals for each of your children is a priceless gift that they will definitely treasure someday. Whatever lies ahead for us in the coming year, I wish you and your family a Healthy and Happy New Year! (and year full of new ideas)
Hello again! That’s a great way to journal & it gives me ideas. I hope my kids appreciate the journals. If nothing else my husband & I enjoy skimming through them to relive memories together. I wish all of the best for you & your’s in the coming year. Thanks again for taking time to boost my confidence once more. 😊
