Even though my dog passed over the rainbow bridge, she showed me more love than most people.
She started to signal when my disabilities acted out, so we further expanded on it where she graduated as my service animal.
She even fought off a creep once.
It's been very difficult to go outside without her, she made such a difference in my life.
I am sorry for your loss, I remember how when I lost my dog, I cried whenever I thought about her or even saw another dog

Wiggly bum is the best. Not tail wag, full wiggly bum. The excitement is real and I can't express how amazing it feels to have that interaction with a dog. It makes me want to get as close to the floor as possible so they can come to me. The following usually consists of face licking, giddy noises and hugging. I'm unable to explain the emotion, but I suspect it is the same as the dog with the wiggly bum. True happiness.

A subtle sign that my dog loves me, is when it stands on its hind legs, dap me up, and they starts speaking, saying "i love you dawg."
It's a pretty easy to miss sign, but I know how to tell now. Sometimes, at night, they would even stand on their hind legs watching me sleep and they start speaking in Latin.

I used to babysit my neighbor’s dog (RIP Kobe🌈) and he would make these hilarious groaning/growling noises whenever you pet him. At first I thought it was because he didn’g like us, but then he kept asking for more pets. He just had a really funny way of showing his love that I’ve never seen from another dog before lol.
I’ve also met a few dogs that would “smile”. They’ll show their front teeth when they’re feeling happy and playful. It can easily be mistaken for aggressive body language, so a good way to know if a “smile” is aggressive or not, is to just pay attention to the rest of their body language

My childhood dog slept under my crib. I had a fever of 110 but the baby monitor batteries died. She ran into my parents room and barked and tugged at them until they followed her to my room.
Another time same dog. Dad hears barking come around corner. I was baby crawling into a giant scorpion. The dog stood between us and held me back barking for help.

Depending on context, dogs use their mouths to simulate what we do with our hands. Your dog could be trying to say hello. Other reasons could be, teething, tooth problems, trying to drag you somewhere to show you something, get better scent of who you are and/or what you've been doing. Playing, fighting or a learned behavior to get the response you give when it is done. If the bites are concerning because you don't want them to hurt anyone I had a dog that liked to do this for play, so we trained him to do it gentler as we said ow. He for some reason had an idea of a strength setting that went down an increment each time we said ow. Same with barking and going shhh. You know your dog better than anyone and probably know why they are doing it. Hope you find something that works for you both and wouldn't mind hearing about what you did as a solution.
My dog has done the same since he was a puppy. It’s a sign of affection and excitement. Tell him to go get his (favorite) toy. Very soon he will just go get it as soon as you walk in the door. Very rewarding to watch. Dogs are so amazing if we listen to what they are trying to communicate. One of Gods most special gifts to man.
I have two retrievers. One is sooo jealous. If I pet the other one he has to get in between us and becomes really excited and affectionate. I have to make alone time for the other one so he doesn't feel left out and unloved

What kind of dog do you guys have. I have a Cocker spaniel name Cooper he is tri colored. He is 4. Since he was 8 weeks ive been training him. He is now my service dog. He is a Psychiatric service dog. He alerts me to fainting spells. He never leaves my sight. I taught him 2 specific words. Touch and pressure. If he sees me shaking he will take his paw and tap me 2 to 3 times. That means I need to sit. I will lay down on my back and then I say pressure. He will lay on my stomach to calm me down. He walks great. I cant believe how well he took to my training.

So cute. We could not have a dog because we lived in a flat and it would not have been good for the dog. But once we had gotten one from someone and he was so nice. We found someone who was happy to take him home and care for him.
My parents dog will let you know she wants attention by poking us, she will lightly tap our arms or chest and politely wait for us to pick her up to sit on our lap. Shes a little havanese, and the only dog weve ever had that gets our attention that way.
She also seems to love watching/listening to Star Trek, but only The Next Generation. If we leave tbe tv on for her she will leave the room, but She will come in from a different room when we watch TNG, particularly when Data is talking. Its tge weirdest thing, but I love that shes a fan.

My 3 dogs show they love me in different ways, Kali, she gets big time jealous and rolls over on her back, listening to every word I say, climbing up on the couch squeezing her body as tight as she can with me and plopping down, rolling over on my lap for me to rub her belly……Angel, licking me and wanting me to be touching me all of the time, immediately when I enter a room where she is she rolls over on her back exposing her belly, and where ever I go she will be right there….Moka she brings me a ball all of the time, following me around like a guard dog, even in the kitchen and bathroom what ever room I am in and finally sit down, you know she has followed me because you can feel & hear the big plunge of her lying down on the floor! I love ALL 3 of my dogs as if they are my babies!
When I get home even from just being out 5 minutes my 3 dogs will stand and wag their tails so hard their back sides are all shaking you can feel the floor shake!!!!

I met this border collie puppy, and so to avoid making her feel anxious or uncomfortable, i kept a distance and let her come to me.meanwhile, i was on my phone, so she walked up to me with a ball so i threw it for her this went on for about an hour before her older sister got jealous and tried to playfight with me but i hid under the blanket. Soon, i felt the jumping around had stopped, and i got out.I turned the blanket over to see the puppy aggressively shoving her off the couch trying to protect me 😅 she came back with the ball and her little "can we play now?" Face. Although i know the older one was only playing its good to know the pup would fight even her own sister to save me ❤ this is just proof that all dogs are unique and lovable when given the right home/person😊 enjoy your day and love your pets with all your heart and soul❤❤❤

Humping is typically a sign of dominance.
You will see this behavior when dogs interact with each other, as they work out where each land in the pecking order.
A dog that humps you, is trying to show dominance over you, and that's the absolutely last thing you want your dog to do.
In fact, it's a good sign that they don't respect you as their leader, and you should work on this part of your relationship.
