Sheikh should ask more clarifying questions. Her uncle could be mother's brother. How can he assume its her fathers brother? Clarification was required there. And never trust your mother. She could do haram too. Satistically over 50% of mothers had did it, or would do it in right circumstances.

But then imagine leaving a husband/wife sitting alone in a room with their sister-in-law/brother-in-law, most would not care, and this often leads to adultery (one’s wife having an affair with his brother, or one’s husband sleeping with her sister). In the USA this happens sometimes.
