For calculating Zakaat on shares ( Stocks) , Most of Islamic scholars consider only Cash, Receivable and Inventory but did not consider the DEBT and INVESTMENT by company.
Would it will not be more Realistic and simplifies for common person if Zakat is calculated based on “Book Value” of shares for long term investors.
I think this issue should be handle in best way by a big team of good Charted Accountants and Islamic Scholars.

@@IFGuru nice video tho..ma sha Allah
I bought the warehouse land for renting out and earn rental income on that.
I paid the 12% token amount and the 70% was planned to pay next month , the sales agreement is to be done along with this payment, and remaining 18% to be paid within 3 months after the sale agreement is done. So In that case is Ok if I deduct 70% of the payment to be made next month while calculating my zakah ??
Assalamu alaikum my sisters & brothers I'm in need of charity due to medical condition it's hard to cover my seher iftar expenses as well I'm an arabic teacher kindly help me may Almighty multiply ur Reward aameen
What about crypto that has shit up in value recently? For example if it was worth £200 for the majority of the year but now worth £2000. What amount do you pay zakat on?
Brother. Hold on. You said if you own a property to rent it then you don't pay zakat on it. But you do have to on the rentals you receive! Question thought, if 1 year passes on the rental income then I should pay 2.5% on that. Correct?
I am guessing your rental income is in the same accounts/ cash with all your other money, so if total of all assets is higher than £360 and you had it for a year then its zakatable, Wallahu Alim.
What about pensions that you dont receive yet?
My wife has 20 ounce(tola) gold. We paid zakat on first year. Is it payable for every year?
Yes. Zakaat must be paid every year on the gold (and if you give her any extra gold it will need to be weighed and the zakaat of the total - old and new gold - calculated).
If i get $1000 on Jan 01 2022 (for the first time in my bank) and I immediately invest it in a company on the terms that I will get 20% of the profit/loss every month.
So next year (Jan 01 2023) Do i pay zakat on that profit/loss money only or do I need to count in that $1000 investment money too in zakat?
If (for example) i do need to count that $1000 investment money in zakat, Do i need to count that $1000 investment every year? Or just of the first year? 🤔
Plz help, I just confused me-self even more 🤯
What if someone has put his money on FD ? What happens on that ?
