He got banned from ECF, then came back under another name, pretending to be someone else. Check my memory with DD but I'm pretty sure that was when he got the idea for the Flippers. I have no idea what ever became of that guy, but he appeared to have gone away forever. By that time, DD & Mrs. had already figured out how to limit sales to 1 per (etc), so folks with fast-fingers were able to score BBs again, which was (and is) a very good thing.
YESSSSSS!!!!! The Rev. 3's are so much cooler than the Rev. 4's!! This is the only one I've always wanted!! I bought an RGB Rev. 3 back when they brand were new. I still use that box! I love it, but the Brass flipper Rev. 3 will always be my white whale.
They are cool for sure, but not nearly as functional for me... unless you modify it with a lipo and a DNA chip. Also, would be really cool if there were a way to use standard Rev 4 Boros so you can have the great RBA selection. If I was a MTL vaper though, I could definitely get down with the Rev 3. For me, collectibility is A+++ for the history. PS. I would never modify the unfired Rev 3s I have. :)

I am reading the whole thread related to the presentation of the bb on ecf. The story of this revolutionary mod fascinates me a lot. Do you think there are "channels" through which it is possible to get hold of a rev 1.1?

Loved the lipo dna40/60/dicodes bf60 conversions that were done on the 3a and prefer the door style as well.

It can look really nice when it's super polished, but it's hard to keep it that way
