I feel it's better than q2 because it's having better hardware but worse software from q2. But we need to also consider q2 library and software section is growing since last 2-3 years and pico just has come 3 months ago. So software can be improved by OTA and it seems Pico is keeping the promises as the library and software experience is growing day by day. Pico has a way better library and software experience than q2 when it was at 3 months' age. So we need to wait and keep believe in Pico in their software department before comparing with a 2 years old software industry.
Waiting for comparison video to Quest 2, I already have quest 2, should I upgrade? I play only IB cricket and Rec room, on my quest 2. Pls advice should I purchase pico 4 for better experience.
If it’s a pcvr game you can, there is no IB cricket in pico store, and compared to quest 2 specs are great, and the library is evolving, it would take another 6 months to catch up

Great to hear you found it better. Surely Its a great headset but I found build quality of headset is not as good as quest, it feels cheap to me. Stock Facial interface is not at all comfortable for long sessions. I am waiting for 3rd party replacement. Software experience is also janky. Thought i like it feels light weight due to battery pack at the back, and FOV is really good. Same games feels much smoother on quest may be due to higer refresh rate. Virtual desktop is a must buy since i am also planning to use pico 4 for pcvr games only. But i still think quest 2 gives overall better experience as a standalone device. Full review coming soon.
I'm waiting for Quest 3. Pico 4 is great but the software and tracking needs a few more years to be better. As we are in India we can't take risks with VR and wait for it's development. Quest 3 I guess will be out by October this year or early next year. Might be 50k+ in India initially, but should be available for 45-50k during sales.

Pico 4…or you can wait for quest 3…that’s my only regret….they have much better software experience….but for playing real vr games from your pc or racing games with g29 or something like that pico is far better…it doesn’t bothers me much on long sessions cause of it being lightweight and battery pack at the back….
