The science of grammar of the arabic language is not widely known to the laymen but it is there if one has the patience and brain capacity to appreciate its depth ! And it is a thorough academic process !
Example for reading : "لاأغوينهم أجمعين إلا عبادك منهم المخلصين" المخلصين ---> this word can be read in 2 different ways 1- El-moklissin which mean the loyals 2- El-Mmokkalassin which mean the ones you saved it looks different but its not the two reading are complimentary to each other in fact you will not be loyal to Allah unless he saved you. according to Allah in Coran he said : إنك لا تهدي من أحببت ولكن الله يهدي من يشاء والله أعلم

I myself don't know the actual number, because no one can really know but Allah. There is a lot of people who are Hufadh but don't go around telling people that they are Hafidh. The answer is so clear and A clear Miracle. If we see the earth from a spaceship 🚀 which means outside earth then we'll notice that half earth is in light or day and the half on darkness or night. Which means half earth sphere is in dark and half sphere in light. But the process of Earth turning over itself makes the day spherizes over night parts of Earth and vice versa. After each 24 hours, the night and the day has reached all Earth and completed each its spherical purpose. Which gives us the undoubtedly proof 1435 years ago that THE HOLY QURAN CLAIMED THAT EARTH IS SPHERICAL. BEFORE NASA. Ahrufs are non existent today, only 1 is in circulation, remaining 6 are taken up. The different styles of recitings are called kirat and they vary only in the reciting style. It doesn't alter the pronunciation, words or meaning. Its actually so basic that we were tought different kirats in our childhood but weren’t told that they are different kirat. Qari would tell us that you can read it in these many ways and all are correct. Actually it's almost impossible to understand if you never read the actual arabic quran with tazbeed. These folks coming with these sorta questions are clueless as fuck and they think, aha we got your perfectly preserved Quran, whereas the ahruf and Kirat variations have been already studied ultra extensively by Muslim scholars centuries ago. The only reason I could think that Kirat variations are not highlighted among laymen Muslims because the more you highlight it, the more it gets confusing. Since the oral tradition takes care of the preservation anyway, you don't need to study it separately unless curious.
To answer the dude question. First there are only 7 readings to Quran. That mean not 7 different Qurans. it mean that some verses in one reading are pronounced differently in other reading. and Yes There are people who memories all the 7 reading together which further prove that its the same Quran

In my country Indonesia many... many Tahfidz, school, Foundation dedicated to Memorize the Quran..starts from early childhood.
Is there alot of hafiz in Indonesia?
And regularly we have National competition to memorize Quran starting from 10 Just, 15,20 up to 30 complete
Indonesia also has the highest Muslim population in the world, inshallah will get to visit one day

The different styles of recitings are called kirat and they vary only in the reciting style. It doesn't alter the pronunciation, words or meaning. Its actually so basic that we were tought different kirats in our childhood but weren’t told that they are different kirat. Qari would tell us that you can read it in these many ways and all are correct.
Actually it's almost impossible to understand if you never read the actual arabic quran with tazbeed. These folks coming with these sorta questions are clueless as fuck and they think, aha we got your perfectly preserved Quran, whereas the ahruf and Kirat variations have been already studied ultra extensively by Muslim scholars centuries ago.
The only reason I could think that Kirat variations are not highlighted among laymen Muslims because the more you highlight it, the more it gets confusing. Since the oral tradition takes care of the preservation anyway, you don't need to study it separately unless curious.

To answer the dude question. First there are only 7 readings to Quran. That mean not 7 different Qurans. it mean that some verses in one reading are pronounced differently in other reading. and Yes There are people who memories all the 7 reading together which further prove that its the same Quran
