      If you are making four different colours of squares then you would need 100 grams of each colour for XS size

    Just finished mine and it turned out really pretty. It does look big during the process but the ribbing will make it fit nicely. I also added another row of squares at the bottom of the body to make it full size instead of cropped. It's perfect :)

    • @indiana1604
      @indiana1604 Год назад

      @@dimpin8316 acrylic yarn is fine I think, it's definitely more affordable! It's just not the best yarn in terms of being made from plastic, the yarn is sometimes rougher on your fingers than wool, and the resulting jumper won't be as breathable (might be more sweaty and hot). Basically you can definitely make it out of acrylic! But I'm sure looking up the characteristics of different kinds of yarn for specific projects would be a good place to start. For example, wool might be more suited to a clothing and acrylic might be more suited to non-clothing projects. It depends on what you are looking for from the yarn (price, look, feel, etc)

    Thanks for this lovely cardigan. I am a bit confused, if the square is 5 x 5, wouldn't that be 25 when laying flat instead of 20?

      Hello! Have you figured this problem out? I'm having the same issue and I dont know if I shoukd make my squares 5 x 5 or 4 x 4 which would equal 20 across how I want it instead of 25 inches across.

      @@fatimacruz34 Hi, did you figured it out? I noticed the diagram considers 4 squares for each sleeve, however, in the pictures I see 6 of them. Maybe there's something off with the smaller squares too.

    Hello! I loved this tutorial but i do have one question. I am making a xs/s and my small squares each measure out to 4 x 4 instead of 5 x 5. But when i put the 4 x 4 squares all together, the total length equals 20 inches across which doesnt match with the 5 x 5 inch measurement that was required. If the squares were 5 x 5 it would be 25 inches across which isnt size xs/s! I hope this makes sense and i would really like you to help me with this mistake i made. Thank you!

    Hi! I'm having some trouble and 'I'm hoping you could help! (If you even check comments from a video two years ago) I'm making a small cardigan from this pattern, and the sheet says that each granny square should be about 5 inches, but I always end up with around 4! I've double checked and I'm using the same size yarn and hook as you! Do you have any idea what could be going wrong?
