On the one hand it is a glimpse into the history of business in Singapore and life of the wealthy Chinese businessmen. Stumbled upon this video on RUclips tonight, it brought back fond memories of Tan Sri Tan Chin Tuan. I remember him as the chairman of the project committee for the extension of Hwa Chong Junior Collage in the late 1960's. His dynamism and business persona left lasting impression on me, who was then a young professional. Nice interview, however, just like to say that to be able to "try everything" in one's life is a great luxury reserved for the fortunate few. Of course, credit is due for those who have had the chance to try everything and succeeded in doing so.
