I actually considered using Pink Ribbon the first attempts, but eventually i got good enough at grazing that i didn't need it anymore, and in the end i opted for a bit more damage to reduce the amount of crits needed, which is what i'm still not that great at.

what equipment did you use for kris and ralsei? also, what you did is dang impressive i've only ever skipped his final attack by cheating noelle into the party in place of ralsei and grinding in the encounter room
Best weapons (MechaSaber & Ragger2) and 2 Frayed Bowties for both (see 3:30) At some point i considered equipping Ralsei with the Pink Ribbon for Max grazing, but ultimately it wasn't necessary.
and now there gets a new glitch discovered which when having a keyboard and a controller connected and pressing the fight button every frame when its perefect you can do about 2x damage of what you normally are suppose to be able to or when equipping with the same setup(keyboard and controller) using the normal equipp and deequip buttons on that controller you can keep the stats from the old item and when deequipping the item only that much it would have buffed you gets removed and when saving and quitting to title and reloading your savefile you have that as your base stats as the item you just equipped will be in the section where you can equip items when then doing again it will work this means it would be ablle to be stacked
This was actually done after that (i did a run showing the max stats gain possible, that being 4 times), so with the max damage potential possible, 7 turns is still the lowest possible.
This is an excellent run, but I just have one question. There’s probably something really obvious I’m missing, but I’m just wondering how your party members seemingly have the Lv. 3 HP values because I was under the impression that they could only level up after you seal the dark fountain, and that you could not return to the cyber world after that.
I did a video exactly about that. for the quick summary: after every 10 encounters where at least one enemy is defeated with Violence, the party's Attack and Magic (except Kris of course) raise by 1; by following some specific steps, it's possible to find 40 encounters, and thus raise the stats 4 times (+2 more compared to what you get when you seal the fountain). the max HP increase for every encounter ended with violence, +2 max HPs for everyone each time (also an additional +1 HP for Susie every 2 encounters). There's an hardcap for max HPs for everyone, but stats don't seem to have one (it's only limited by the fact that enemies don't respawn if defeated with violence, but i also found some exploits to circumvent that).
Which spamton fight i faster? This or snowgrave? Because i remember doing snowgrave one in like 10 turns without any meaningfull crits or good TP farming, oh and i didnt have jevilstail
On average, i will say the Snowgrave one is faster. With max damage output, however, the snowgrave takes at minimum 8 turns (not counting the phase where you have to call for help of course), while this one 7.
Very likely not. I defeated as many enemies as possible to gain stats up (and since the most recent version removed an encounter from the total number, now only 3 stats up are possible), so that already requires too much time, obviously. In general i think Sparing will always be faster for speedruns, unless the Puppet Scarf will be so useful for future chapters to make speedrunners consider getting it.

There is a glitch you can do to farm attack that would let you do it in one turn

I knew optimal grazing on this fight was extremely powerful, but Rude Buster every turn without Pink Ribbon? Wow.

no because it's a postgame weapon and you can't do snowgrave & normal route at the same time to get the scarf then fight spamtonneo a second time
Since the only way to defeat Spamton NEO in Snowgrave is with Violence, the Puppet Scarf is the only secret boss item you can get in that route.

In snowgrave would spamton still give you the puppet scarf? Just asking to see the loot so when all chapters are out I can speed run them all.
Yeah, he does, just that the game doesn't "announce" it like it normally does.
You could use this glitch where if you hold z and spam enter you can shoot endlessly charged bullets. You can't move while doing it tho
It sets the game to hard mode. I don't suggest it.
