What you are saying about being a kind human is what im teaching my daughter. She's 6, and i started from an early age that she should tell people what you like about them. When she was younger, she would whisper it to me, and i would encourage her to tell them, or i could tell them. She would ask me to do it, and she began to love those interactions. As she found her voice, she would ask me to hold her hands while she would compliment them. Now she just asks me, "Mommy, can i tell them i like xyz?" I've seen people's whole day turn around just from her kindness. Tears well in some eyes, with a "thank you." And they turn to me and say "thank you for raising a kind little girl." I'm so proud of my little human in those moments.
oh my gosh, that's amazing 🥹 definitely something I want to get better at and instil in my own children one day! I can't wait to see how kind the next generation is ❤️
@smileycitrus She actually tells me now to tell people when i whisper i like something. (The student has passed the master 🤣). I'm hoping for a change because right now, this generation is struggling 😅 but I know we can get better. Love the videos! ♥️
Hey Ella, just wanted to say a massive thank you for the beautiful, realistic and cosy content you put out - you’re truly my number 1 comfort creator and your videos feel like a safe space when not a lot is anymore. Sending you lots of love and appreciation over from Perth! 🩷🩷
I came back to Aus last year after living in Edinburgh for 2.5 years and here are a few recommendations to explore: 1. Dean Village (one of the most photogenic spots in town). 2. Rose Street - small lane with great cafes and a really cute vibe in the 'New Town' of Edinburgh. 3. If you can, do a walking tour as they have great stories about the city and you get a good sense of how its evolved. 4. Grassmarket - great food! 5. Take the bus to Queensferry, a really cute town on the outskirts of Edinburgh where you can see the Firth of Forth and the 3 bridges.
So funny you watch Allisa rose, I’ve been watching her regularly for years and her content is so calm and peaceful. Your channel was on my recommended a few months ago and I can’t stop watching your content either! Your doing great 🎉😊
Ella, bloody love your content. I feel like I’ve known you for ages (I know that sounds a bit creepy) and would happily get a coffee one day. Your ability to connect with us through the camera is super rare! That’s why you’re on of my favourite content creators. Been thinking of you guys heaps after your loss. I am also 1 in 4 and know how special that rainbow baby is. Anyway- thanks for another great vlog drop xx 🌈 ❤
Loved the cozy home vibes in this video! If you’re in the theater district in London, I highly recommend dinner at Temper, go see a show, and then pop by Rules for a cocktail after. It’s the oldest restaurant in London and the vibes are immaculate. In Edinburgh, The Wall Coffee House has great coffee and treats and the aesthetic is A+. Gordon Street Coffee is also great and very close to the train station. Have SO much fun in Europe!
One of my absolute favorite things I did in Edinburgh was taking an alpaca for a walk at BobCat Alpacas, which is on the edge of the city but quite easy to get to on public transport! I think it was a 20-30 minute bus ride from the city center and just a 10 minute walk to the farm from there. Still one of my favorite travel experiences ever, anywhere. I walked Petros pre-pandemic and it looks like he’s still there, so please do give him a fond hello pat from me if you go! ❤ And in Amsterdam I really enjoyed the Foodhallen, and the Van Gogh Museum is a MUST! I also don’t think you can go wrong with a canal boat tour of any kind - it’s just a really fun way to see the city from a different perspective.
Hi Ella, love your content and look forward to new upload each week. Can you say what game you all are playing at the end of this vlog. Looking forward to snippets from your girls trip. xx
Hi Ella! I would love one day if you’re comfortable chatting about what your repayments looked like when you were building? I’d love to build but we also need to rent at the same time and just not sure if it is possible! Xx
I spent almost 2 weeks in Paris in September 2022 and we did Moulin Rouge which was ssooooo worth it! Tickets sell out way in advance, so be on top of it! Also, we spent the day at Versailles and it was my favorite day of the trip! Some of the most fun I had too was scooting around the city at night on Lime scooters. You get to see everything all lit up with less traffic and spending only like 10€. I enjoyed my time in Amsterdam and London when I went, but I didn’t spend as much time so I don’t feel like my suggestions hold as much weight.
If you have a spare day in Amsterdam I would definitely head out to zaanse schans (cute spot with windmills) or volendam (cute seaside town! I had the best seafood here and freshly made stroop waffle). Both places are only about 20 minutes out from memory!
I used to work at Starbucks for a bit in America....for cold foam, try mixing cream and milk equal parts(that makes what they call half n hlaf) from that, use 2 parts of that combo with one part lite milk. Add your flavour and then whisk and you should be good😊
If you’re looking for good coffee and nice cafe vibes abroad, highly recommend Lavinia Good Food in Amsterdam and Mare Street Market in London. Also a cheeky glass of bubbles at The Gate Picturehouse in Notting Hill is just the most magical experience and not too £££.
Also - Heron in Leith is amazing if you’re looking for a fancy dinner out in Edinburgh (but much more reasonable than London prices). And not far from the amazing folks at Insider Tattoo Studio if you’re feeling very adventurous.
I loved going up the Shard in london and we walked over the O2 one year of course westend shows are a plenty ❤ free to do Hyde park is beautiful the natural history museum is also a good one and the science museum is fun both often have school parties though if your their in July schools out end of July though. I’m off to Paris next week for my birthday so I’ll feed back when I’m home ❤
if you go by train London to Edinburgh, I definitely recommend a small break at Liverpool! Great city, but very unrated. (or i guess i am biased because i live here 😅)
I am so glad you have such a great lifelong friend💝. I am 44 years old and my lifelong friend from the age of 8 years old, emailed me and told me she didn't want me to contact her again. She had a key to my house and she mailed that back to me. She was staying with me a week before this happened. So lifelong friendships also eventually come to an end, but just enjoy the time you do have together. Oh my ex bestie can never forget me because she has a tattoo, her first ever tattoo that I paid for, she so badly wanted a tattoo after seeing me getting mine done, but she had no money, so I offered to pay for whatever she wanted and it was a 🐞. I have no hatred, anger or any negative feelings towards my ex bestie, I have just happily moved on, oh maybe I do have 1 negative thing, don't de-friend a lifelong soul sister by email!
