    Jeez. You're so resilient. I can't say that I'd have kept going after being denied even twice. Maybe I'd have tried but after that third denial, I definitely would have convinced myself that this wasn't the path for me 😂
    Nice video. Enjoyed it!

      You’re welcome.
      There are multiple ways to approach it. You can look for a strong point that you have in your new interview (like funding) and emphasize that. You can also mention that you were nervous during the previous interview and couldn’t properly answer the question asked.

    Can you kindly make a video for dependent. I'm a f1 going with a dependent, what are the likely questions for me and my dependent?

    • @NzubeOhalete
      @NzubeOhalete  8 месяцев назад

      I don’t think your questions would differ so much from people without dependents BUT you have to show that you both have STRONG ties to return.
      You need a strong reason that sounds logical to anyone that both of you would return after your degree. So you want to prepare very well for that.
      If you were going alone then your dependent would be your home ties to return. But now that you’re both going, you’ll need to think carefully about what the home ties would be.
      In addition, you’ll have to look for an opportunity to give that response as early as possible in the interview. But let it come as a natural response. Probably to questions like “What would you do with this degree” or “Why this course of study”?
      The VO considers any student a potential immigrant till they can prove otherwise. With a dependent, you need a stronger proof.

    Sir I am from Pakistan. I Got my F1 visa rejected on 5March 2024 under 214(b).The officer asked me only 3 questions.
    1:Do you applied to any other college?
    Ans:No officer i have searched about other colleges but only applied in this college because it have a good reputation in my course(BBA) and luckily and i got the admission so thats why I didn’t apply to any other college.
    2:who gonna sponsor you?
    Ans:my father
    3:what does he do?
    Ans:he is currently running a car show room and we also have agricultural lands.
    After this he asked me have you traveled before and I didn’t hear his question rightly and I replied the opposite i asked no I don’t have relatives outside of my country ,then he again asked i said have you traveled before then I replied no officer it’s my first time i am travelling to the us. After that he rejected me.
    Documents i passed;
    1 : passport
    2: i20

      Hello my brother! Try to explain better your father's job it's very important. Try for example to say "He is an entrepreuner and invested in agriculture and also running cars business. He has a show room in Karashi and planned to open others. For finish, try to listen very well his questions, if you didn't understand just tell "Please can you repeat the question ?". I think it is also better to not do your second interview just one month after you have been rejected because they will think that you are hurried to leave your country.

      Thank you @abdoulayebah215. Your responses are really solid. @Alihassan-7 you have to amplify that your father can handle your education. And I’ll also add that Visa officers expect a good student to apply to at least 3-4 Universities. So you need to reword your first response.
      I only applied to Monroe college because they have an outstanding reputation for the BBA program which I am very interested in.
      Don’t mention anything that conveys doubt or uncertainty. You should come off as a passionate student.
      Good luck in your interview.

    How about if your deficit is being sponsored by your employer and you wanted to go with your dependents (wife and son)

    • @NzubeOhalete
      @NzubeOhalete  9 месяцев назад

      If your deficit is being sponsored by your employer then that’s a HUGE plus. It already subconsciously implies that you’ll return since your employer is training you to return and add value to the company. (Nothing is free 😄).
      I can’t really speak so much about dependents as I didn’t have any during my interview.

    • @NzubeOhalete

      Yes they will. However, they would first require you to submit bank statements that has enough money to cover the deficit. After you satisfy this, they would issue you the I-20.
