There are two issues involved in this Agnipath scheme , and the scheme fails on both . Fisrst issue : why does a country has defence forces , to protect its borders , this scheme will completely defeat this purpose . Because, any army front , having 75% , of it , undertrained , unskilled, unsure about their future , will never fight and they will runaway on the first opportunity against any well trained army . Looks like people who are responsible to formulate this scheme, have no knowledge about the training periods required for training of various categories of soldiers , from recruits to trained soldiers in various arms and services of defence forces . Besides who is going to go out of his way to give his life for his country, when he is unsure of his future after four years . The second issue is , employment, the scheme fails completely on this as well . With the induction of this scheme, we have straightaway taken out , Army as a career in India . Now it will be a last choice or at best a stop gap arrangement for any one . And let’s not forget a stop gap army has never won any battles ever . Suggestion : If so , Run both schemes ie regular induction of Army/ Navy / Airforce and the Agnipath concurrently , and let Agnipath be another feeder line for the forces .

Biggest Problem with B.J.P. is that ,they do not communicate their decisions properly. First they should make a " Mahol " for its decision and then implement.. Govt., first announces its decision n then starts giving clarifications, through their godee media. Sudden announcements are the biggest drawback of this govt.,right from beginning. Note bandi , Pakistan visit etc.are other examples.

Interest of national security first than any thing. Agniveers are not trained asper army' technical requirement which is most important to be vigilant at all times especially during war. These short term trained soldiers are not trained as such & may defeat our whole scheme of army as well as agnipath both. We may think & revise the scheme in the interest of 1.40 crore Indians.

ऑफिसर को अग्निपथ स्कीम में क्यों नहीं ? मुझे सब पता है एक्सरसाइज के दौरान एक ऑफिसर को 2-2 जवान उठाकर ले जाते है । खुद ऑफिसर करे 60 साल तक फिर अग्निवीर को 4 साल क्यों ? अगर 4 साल करेगा तो पेंशन क्यों नही ।

Why...officers and government having an eye on Sepoy's benefits and pensions. If, we don't have budget for modernization of our defence...then stop projects like Central Vista and give VRS to 50+ all commissioned officers and revoke their pension. Why only Sepoy's are victims of such policies. One more important point... for Agnipath discussions please call ex Sepoy's not only officers for justified debate. Ask from Sepoy not from General. I crossed the age to join army but I am always ready whenever Country needs me...even when I will become senior citizen. Government not even wants to give gratuity, otherwise scheme can be exerted for more than 5 years. Government wants to run the country through a corporate model with agenda to just gain a profit. Shame on all the citizens who are not with the Sepoy's. He is thr first man to jump in the battle field. A sepoy gets promotions during his service tenure and can reach upto the position of subedar major. May be through this scheme they will never get promoted. Is it a justice. Puchti h saari duniya.
