Now this is one part that I've been going back and forth on. When I first saw it in the Subaru catalog I thought it looked really cool, but the more I looked at it compared to the OEM front...i love how fat those holes are. Of course it is important to remember all these cosmetic mods are subjective.
Very true. I've also considered just painting the oem grille gloss black. I think If I could get the oem grille without the bars coming up to the subaru Emblem it would look really slick!
I had a hell of a time attempting to get all the clips back in the bottom of the bumper cover. One doesn’t seem to want to go so I’ll have to pick a sunny day when everything’s more malleable to take it off and attempt to get it on again.
Cody, I also have an MGM and the Noble grill looks so crisp and clean without the badge. I was a little worried about the bumper removal and reinstall but it looks straight forward.
Hi Cody, Could you do a quick recap and full shot of your car thus far. Heaps of mods that you have done. Would like to see a tour of the car for inspiration.
Needs a little bit of contrast/something or the badge on there since they made that grille larger compared to the VA. Just my opinion though; your car and money so rock whatever you want. ✌
I agree. Not sure what I want to do yet. I'm gonna try the badge, and then maybe try some fogs or Hella Horns behind the Grille to make it look less empty.
@@StreetInspired1 I wanted to get some custom made badges but the one person that I was following on social media no longer does it. Had to settle for a premade aftermarket set.
It looks good but I think I want the jdm muscle grill in gloss black. To be honest the VA WRX had a better front end. They looks so good with a open grill.
I'll be honest I loved that style grille and had it on my old wrx but the mesh grilles looks really strange on the 2022. Import image racing has a carbon prototype the same style as jdmuscle with the mesh on their 2022 right now if you look at it on their Instagram. I think the opening is too large for mesh but I'm not sure. I'm still indifferent haha
Man I see a bunch of goodies sitting behind you in boxes?!?! The suspense is killing me cuz I know your going to build a street ripper car is looking good so far
That rubber dam that clipped into the middle part of the stock grill did you just leave that alone I noticed when I put note back on it’s going to blow around because this sport grill doesn’t support it
I didn't even think of this when I first installed it but after having it on the car a few weeks it hasn't seemed to move. I thought of removing it but I don't want to remove it and screw anything up. My guess is it diverts air to the Radiator and intake box and it's there to distribute the air evenly. Mine hasn't moved since changing the Grille though.
@@StreetInspired1 I’m with it but when I was using the blower drying after car bath i noticed it was flailing around in there so it’s on your car with no support correct
the grill may be a nice piece and an easy install...but it looks hideous on the car. the OE front grill looks better. yes, there are other cars on the market with giant voids of nothing (see Genesis and Audi) for front grills, but those cars' front grill was part of the design. this grill just looks lifeless.

Ya know, I initially didn't like the aftermarket grills I saw but that looks damn sweet on your color.

Just ordered looks super sick
On my 21, I did a simple WRX logo on the lower left corner, driver side.
I've seen people do that and it looks really nice!

You should get the new fogs to match 😉
I wanted the oem gloss black fogs with the LEDs but im waiting to see if someone makes them. The oem ones are super expensive.
Looks a lot better than the stock one.

Looks clean. Id want a cherry blossom star badge
That would look nice!!
Looks awesome!
does your new grill have bottom clips? mine only has clips on the top

Unfortunately those aren't mine. I helped my buddy install a bunch of stuff on his hatch last weekend.

@@StreetInspired1 I’m allot like you very thorough so this was king of bothering me
does it come in matte black?
Looks awesome!! I’m guessing you still have the use of the front camera??
My car didn't come with one, but there is a mounting area for it if you have one!
If I have a tow hook front plate do I have to remove that first before removing the bumper?
Unfortunately, you will have to remove it before the bumper can come off.
Dope
Is te grille have holes in it or you drill it?
The Grille comes with holes
Theres a front facing camera?
It's a factory option!
@@StreetInspired1oh ok i have the gt and am unaware if i have it or not lol. Could come in handy
I prefer the stock grill
It needs the badge bro. Being too plain hurts in the eye
Definitely plan on installing a badge soon. It does look a little funny with nothing there.
