Yoko Ono knows all too well the world can be a cold, hard place. Since the sixties, her life work of speaking up, pointing out, re-imagining and re-creating it through art and music has touched every corner of our culture. On "Give Me Something" she demands something more and gets in the form of hot new remixes by Morel, Ralphi Rosario, Alex Traxx and Roberto Rodriguez. On the LP Open Your Box, Yoko's alter-electronic ego Ono has been pumping out her revamped classics for a new digital generation with remixes by top-of-their-game and cutting edge producers that have spawned 4 successive #1 dance singles "No No No", "I'm Not Getting Enough", "Give Peace A Chance" and her seminal "Walking On Thin Ice". "Give Me Something" is originally from the John and Yoko Double Fantasy LP that was released 3 weeks before John's death and went on to win a Grammy for Best Album in 1981. how many copies do you have to see to be number 1? Does she do better than Madonna etc...?
Jason Lee No she has 13 madonna holds the most number 1s on dance and club hit charts with 30 something and she just scored another number 1 so i dont think anyones beating her record but i love yokos mixes
@@idonteperfect6943 Yep. Yoko is the 11th most popular artist in Dance/Club charts history. Pretty sure Madonna is still #1.
@@kenlieck7756 Yes Madonna achieved a huge number of 50 on the dance charts making her the artist with the most number 1s on any chart, her last album went number 1 with mostly pure sales and it was just a remix album of all of her dance number 1 hits
