I think that Aaron may of had the benefit of cooking the turkey his way for a number of years so therefore they may of chosen what was known to them. In saying that I think he used different herbs and spices this time.
Tristan Love to watch your cooking with aaron I see you owning your own restaurant your explanation during your cooking process is on point truly fun to watch and keep following your dreams aloha from the hawaii ohana ❤️ 👍
Reminds me of the year my aunt's boyfriend rolled up to Thanksgiving with a whole deep fried turkey, and my great aunt/the host was like, no, he didn't think he could just make a turkey like that, the little interloper. Literally, everyone ate his turkey to the bone and only a few people touched hers. Even though he was so humble about it, she legit glared at him the rest of the night. LOL!
Tristian always excels - however I think the smoker adds a whole other level of taste & elevation to the meat & Aaron used extra strong seasonings which makes a huge difference in my book 🥳 Oh - and the fact that Aaron's turkey was still freshly out of the smoker also makes a huge difference --- I wonder if Tristian could of won if he did the smoker instead or if they were both freshly done 😂🤷🏾♀️ BOTH WINNERS IN MY BOOK 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤
I truly love both turkey methods. Aaron's is about how most people do it. Tristan's however, shows us all a different way to do it in the oven with the proper pans we all probably have in our kitchen. I think Tristan was right his came out 2 hours before. The taste should be the factor not so much how warm it still is. Smoked Turkey is good. So is Deep Fried. I'd love to see them do a deep fried Turkey or Chicken. Thanks Guys for showing us your method, style and I believe the kids spoke on taste. Tristan I'm sure yours was amazing too just this time the kids liked Aaron's. Don't forget most of the time Tristan is the winner on just about everything. Happy Thanksgiving Everyone. Tristan, Matt and Hailey should be over for dinner.
I love these videos, I would love to see something sooo simple, and how you both approach it, like grilled cheese... maybe pair it with something else. It would be fun to see.
Good advice Aaron to tell people to get their turkey into the fridge a week in advance because a lot of people don't realise how long it takes to defrost it. I agree with Tristan to leave the turkey uncovered in the fridge overnight with no brine. I had a giggle when Tristan said to bring out your inner chiropractor as I was watching another video cooking Thanksgiving turkey (Andy Cooks) and when he was preparing his turkey and pushing down to spatchcock it my first thought was I need an adjustment.
Smoked is the best way to go! Always have ours smoked, and it's always the first to disappear! We rarely have leftovers or people will hide a take home plate with smoked turkey! 😂
Congratulations Aaron! I love a smoked turkey. I'm sure Tristan's was good but Aaron would have won no matter what, simply because it's smoked. I don't think Tristan's turkey being out earlier made that much of a difference as a matter of fact being done earlier should have let the flavor settle longer, I would think. No matter what, great job guys!
I love bake my turkey night before I start around 1:30 two pm put on slow 240 let cook all night I take squeeze butter eggs flour mix together spread out the turkey makes juice y take inside out first all around I n and out my turkey comes out so good I salt ta my onions and cerly in butter in a pan put in my stuffing
Both looked very good. I’ve never had a smoked turkey so I don’t know what it’s supposed to taste like I’ve always oven baked not quite the meth that that Tristan used..🥰❤️
I find that dry brining works best for me. I rub all over the bird an then let it sit in refrigerator for 24 hours, dry brine will penetrate throughout the whole Turkey. I don’t have refrigerator that is large enough for a big enough vessel to use a wet brining solution.
Was reading comments and saw yours. 🙂 Im a great gram so I've made a few turkeys. 😉 I wanted to share my solution for when I didn't have a big enough frig or pan. I got a new, inexpensive Styrofoam cooler and filled it with ice and brine solution...and the bird of course. Just in case you're interested. Happy Holidays from this gram. 🙂
Unfortunately, I couldn't ever ear either one as I am highly allergic to rosemary. They both looked delicious 😋. I'm having deep fried turkey for Thanksgiving. Be blessed Crazy Pieces.
Hey, could the editor please start using Celsius in the captions also as you have a lot of international viewers and America is the only place that does Fahrenheit 😮
Theres a recipe on google called easy no fuss turkey and I slow roast in oven on 225 for 7.5 hours and best turkey I’ve ever had. I grew up with fried turkey and have tried others but that recipe seriously is the best
I have cooked so many turkeys, so many different ways over the years at Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter… Recently, I finally admitted to my family that I hate turkey and it turns out most of them don’t really like it either! Time to buck tradition. What ideas do you have for an alternative Christmas dinner? Because it’s often just a repeat of Thanksgiving with a ham in our parts:/
Aaron, please tell me you used all the seasoning that you sprinkled over the turkey right after you had massaged the turkey and still had dirty hands when you picked up the seasoning container. All i could think of was salmonella poisoning
There are plenty of channels that show the right technique. If you are struggling to find one go to the Andy Cooks channel as he shows how to carve a turkey, ham and a roast beef. I hope that helps you. 😊
I love how humble Aaron is with his cooking. So enjoyable to watch and zero arrogance for all his amazing dishes. ❤
Aurora saying she liked his too.. awe ♥️
I wonder how many times Aaron will aggravate Tristin because his turkey won 😂
I think that Aaron may of had the benefit of cooking the turkey his way for a number of years so therefore they may of chosen what was known to them. In saying that I think he used different herbs and spices this time.
Aurora is gonna love anything Christian does so adorable😊

Fried is by far the best. It's fastest and so juicy. But really, any turkey is good..lol 😊
Smoked is the best way to go! Always have ours smoked, and it's always the first to disappear! We rarely have leftovers or people will hide a take home plate with smoked turkey! 😂
Just a question if you always have a smoked, how is it the first to disappear your statement implies there isn’t ‘another’ to disappear last

Wishing you a happy and meaningful Thanksgiving.
I bacon wrap the top of my oven baked turkey

Fried! Trying for the first time this year!
Hello Beyond Crazy!! Great job! 🤗
🤗Both 🦃look good!
Thank you for sharing! Happy Thanksgiving!🦃
Blessings💜💜💜
Smoked will always beat baked in my books 😂❤ sorry Tristan yours did look amazing

😂 I'm so glad you won Aaron🎉
Maybe cooking lessons with Tristin in Arizona? Just a suggestion🎉❤
I never brined my turkey. I just seasoned it and bated it or cooked it in a bag. Comes out juicy and tasty.
💜💜💜

Happy Holidays from this gram. 🙂
Try roast turkey 🍗 jummy delicious 😋
Aurora is so sweet ❤
Deep Fried only 😊
Injected with Tony Chacheres butter & herb seasoning , perfection 👌
Unfortunately, I couldn't ever ear either one as I am highly allergic to rosemary. They both looked delicious 😋. I'm having deep fried turkey for Thanksgiving. Be blessed Crazy Pieces.
happy thanksgiving
Anything smoked is better in my opinion ❤
What does the baking powder do? I have never heard of that.
Deep Fried is the BEST!!!!
Love your vlogs from Lancashire uk
😍😍😍😍
Hey, could the editor please start using Celsius in the captions also as you have a lot of international viewers and America is the only place that does Fahrenheit 😮
I'd appreciate that as well.
Just google it. Editing is hard enough.
Or you can just Google it.
Theres a recipe on google called easy no fuss turkey and I slow roast in oven on 225 for 7.5 hours and best turkey I’ve ever had. I grew up with fried turkey and have tried others but that recipe seriously is the best
What is the purpose of the baking powder?

have you guys heard about the butterball turkeys
It was from 2006
That is not what thanksgiving is about Aaron lol you crack me up
You only brine your turkey if it wasn't pre-brined, it'll say on the package of the turkey if it's already been brined.
Aaron, please tell me you used all the seasoning that you sprinkled over the turkey right after you had massaged the turkey and still had dirty hands when you picked up the seasoning container. All i could think of was salmonella poisoning
He doesn't need to tell anyone anything. He's an adult who knows what he's doing.
@@DearLeah-z7tlike contaminating things with raw poultry?
@@tracywilhelm4397 get yourself a life to focus on instead of being so triggered by what someone else does in their own kitchen, weirdo.
I wish that you would have shown carving the turkey. Most people don't know to remove the whole breast and then carve it.
There are plenty of channels that show the right technique. If you are struggling to find one go to the Andy Cooks channel as he shows how to carve a turkey, ham and a roast beef. I hope that helps you. 😊
You both forgot the best seasoning for turkey, savory! It's delicious.
My grandpa make a season vinegar & keep it sprayed . Thank me later 😊🤤
Baked or smoked ? Eaten is the best.

Smoked
We're having pulled pork for Thanksgiving this year it's only us 2
wash and take out the feathers.
That Cajuns we season it whole lot of different than y’all y’all don’t have enough seasoning. All y’all his herbs.
Tristan you should go to cooking school
I prefer cooked Turkey. Then again I'm not from the US.
Deep fried ?
🤍🤍🤍
I’m worried about Aaron, he looks like he’s recovering from a black eye
He was sick. He'll be fine.
I've watched for years, but some how I managed to miss who Tristian is and where he came from LOL, can someone fill me in please?
There are lots of videos filling people in on who he is.
Neither. Deep fried! But then I live in Louisiana. Nothing better than Cajun seasoned Deep fried turkey
Hard to follow with both of them the same video. Lol
How is it hard?
I am not a fan of smoked
Take the L tristan. Take the L!!!
Your not supposed to use that brand of turkey bc they were turkey abused
It has nothing to do with brand, silly.
As a non american, It is so weird and sad to realise how many turkeys there will be eaten that day..
I do not like when they want you to choose one over the other nor do I like that they have to rstd everything. Quit making everything in context.
Why do you always complain? You seem very unhappy in life.
