I admire him since I started using his Turbo Pascal in the late 80s. After that he designed Delphi (Object Pascal) until he designed C# in the late 90s.

Yup. I've programmed with every one of his compilers from Turbo Pascal, Delphi and C#. Unarguably the best compiler designer ever!
