I am going to guess here, but I'm thinking that skyline in the Daredevil title is of Helks Kitchen, and since Avengers Tower is in mid town, that's why you don't see it.

I think Hell’s kitchen is actually on the west side of midtown Manhattan. You should see the tower.

A quick Google search says Feige explained that AoS is NOT part of the sacred timeline, so while events in AoS mention the MCU, it's just a branch timeline
I hope creative overhaul also means that we never mention the events of Secret Invasion again.
Guess we'll find out by armor wars, but I REALLY hope they just drop the lingering plotline of Giah being OP as hell.

AND HE DIED IN THE MOST UN-HEROIC WAY... I was sooooo pissed the way they killed Davis. If they were to kill anyone, it should have been Piper, who at one time betrayed the team. Davis had kids, he should have been the last to go...

Idk if you guys have covered it, but on the official MCU bio of Nick Furry on the Marvel Website that was updated just before secret invasion they mention his involvement with the end of Agents of SHEILD ssn 1. So at the very least ssn 1 is cannon.

Totally agree Secret Invasion should've been Agents of SHIELD season 8 with Fury, Hill and Talos teaming up with AOS crew. IMHO Marvel made a big mistake killing off Hill and Talos (and using AI for the opening credits rather than artists). Olivia Coleman's charachter was awesome though.
