    Have you had the chance to try both variation of the Begode RS19 torque and speed? If so which do you prefer and why?

    • @RamSees13
      @RamSees13 3 года назад +2

      ive not had the chance to try both, but i got my RS19HT/RST (high torque) thinking about hill climbing ability. ive only had my euc for a month now, but if the speed can conquer hills, then i would love to have the addition topspeed. i got it solely for the sake of climbing a steep and spiraling hill that i climb everyday on my commute. so its not a hill that i can enter at a high speed and let a "lower torque" motor using momentum, get me up. of course i had no experience when i ordered the euc, and so i just went with the safer option with my dilemma....
      ...so if the speed version can also conquer hills (what percentage/grade of hill could be included in the specs perhaps) without any momentum, or overheating of the electronics, purely on its own torque characteristics, then i would definitely opt for the speed as well. without question.

    I believe there is more a difference when you require more from the EUCs. A straight line may not be enough to show the difference between torque and "top end".
    I chose the MSP over the MSX after considering the type of terrain I mostly cover, which is very hilly.
    The difference in battery consumption probably occurs when you try riding the Torque version at a cruise speed made more for the speed version. The trade offs are this: The speed version offers a faster cruise speed and of course, a faster overall speed. The torque version offers a feeling of power that gives confidence to the rider especially in hilly/off-road conditions.

    • @milordas

      torque motor just have more power, acordingly battery usage is bigger. As we know, power is used from motor as much as it requires only, but.. were not computers and cant maintain stable speed at all, so torque wheels have always bigger power spike usage, so battery is drawed faster

    You got your VIDEO ALL WRONG. I don't believe you are a dirt trail rider also or else you would of known the sole purpose of each one.
    These are 2 different beast:
    RSS = lower hangers/pedals for stability at higher speeds on flat surfaces.
    RST = higher hangers/pedals for clearance at off road dirt trails/single track trails, dirt, mud, sand, rock crawling where you will be climbing steep hills or descending down treacherous terrain were you would need that extra clearance and instant torque and braking.
