Thank you for this. Really interesting to watch. So sad to see what our great network became but delighted to see items that have survived. I live in Hertfordshire and we still have our old town station and platform and there is a line walk for about 4 miles to Braughing Station which is beautifully restored. 👌🏼

Thanks. True it's such a shame that we've lost so many active lines but it is good to hear of ones that have survived. I've also got an old branch line near me that is now a walkway with lots of original features left.

I really enjoy your videos and after Penmaenpool , you have visited another of my favourite places, Ironbridge. If you travel further east, through Jackfield, you will come to the site of Coalbrookdale Station. Now in private ownership but lovingly restored. Alongside one of the platforms are two ex BR Mk1 coaches that have been converted into self catering accomodation and painted GWR Brown and Cream.

Thanks Graham for your support of the channel and the information. Coalbrookdale certainly sounds worth a trip. This wasn't a planned visit we were just in the area for the day but it's definitely somewhere I want to go back to. So much history in one small area and such a scenic location as well

Sorry to correct but it's coalport station you are referring too, coalbrookdale is on the disused ironbridge power station to madeley junction line.
