Metal is not demonic. And it never has been. Any genre of music can be used to worship the devil, just like any can be used to praise Christ. Many metal band members are religious, and many metal bands have specialized in Christian music - which they certainly wouldn't do if this music were satanic.

I loved your reaction. A year ago, I would not have understood or enjoyed this very much. Last April I "met" Dan on his Amazing Grace Video and it has been 8+ months of getting to know his style of metal-infused music and I am a fan for life. I especially love the fact that you talked about Victor so much. He is in a band that does Satanic and Dark Metal which is not to my liking. BUT there are many sides to artists and they can use their talents however they wish. His guitar work is top-notch whatever he plays. Please check out 2 of his U Tube videos. He did a very short acoustic piece this year of Silent Night which could be put on a loop and send you into a heavenly sleep. Also please listen to "Harmonics" (Live from Loftet"). In it he speaks about his musical passion and describes the song they play that he wrote. It is mesmerizing. I think he has a lot more to offer the world and needs all of his admirers to help support him. I love your thoughtful remarks about all different genres if music. Pavarotti’s O Holy Night is my favorite, but I’m really digging this rocked out version! Check out, the hidden gem, Queen’s Thank God It’s Christmas. They released a music video version in 2018. The animation is really well done.
First half was baby Jesus in a manger, the second half was the majesty of the warrior, savior King that Dan pays such powerful homage to with his metal vocals and raised arm. CHRIST IS THE LORD, OH PRAISE HIS NAME FOREVER.. I was honestly glad you did not stop after the growl, your laughter was much more appreciated than stopping and questioning. Thank you. Admittedly, the growl was not my favorite part but I know Dan put immense energy into it and into this entire rendition! I deeply appreciate his vision. As a christian, I tire of the pretentious virtue signaling regarding metal music. I much prefer it to the repetition of the same song, the same way ad nauseam. Now you HAVE go over to Tommy Johansson's channel and listen to his Swedish version of this song ("O Helga Natt")...He's another metal artist, lead guitarist for Sabaton, who is also very much worth a listen.He plays all the instruments on his videos, arranges his music (sometimes even arranges for Floor of Nightwish!), basically does everything and, on top of that, has an amazing voice and adds some humor to many of his videos. I do believe that some who did think metal was not good for one to listen to have changed their minds because of Dan. I loved your reaction. A year ago, I would not have understood or enjoyed this very much. Last April I "met" Dan on his Amazing Grace Video and it has been 8+ months of getting to know his style of metal-infused music and I am a fan for life. I especially love the fact that you talked about Victor so much. He is in a band that does Satanic and Dark Metal which is not to my liking. BUT there are many sides to artists and they can use their talents however they wish. His guitar work is top-notch whatever he plays. Please check out 2 of his U Tube videos. He did a very short acoustic piece this year of Silent Night which could be put on a loop and send you into a heavenly sleep. Also please listen to "Harmonics" (Live from Loftet"). In it he speaks about his musical passion and describes the song they play that he wrote. It is mesmerizing. I think he has a lot more to offer the world and needs all of his admirers to help support him. I love your thoughtful remarks about all different genres if music. First half was baby Jesus in a manger, the second half was the majesty of the warrior, savior King that Dan pays such powerful homage to with his metal vocals and raised arm. CHRIST IS THE LORD, OH PRAISE HIS NAME FOREVER.. I was honestly glad you did not stop after the growl, your laughter was much more appreciated than stopping and questioning. Thank you. Admittedly, the growl was not my favorite part but I know Dan put immense energy into it and into this entire rendition! I deeply appreciate his vision. As a christian, I tire of the pretentious virtue signaling regarding metal music. I much prefer it to the repetition of the same song, the same way ad nauseam. Thanking Dan and Victor for shaking me awake to the real reason for the season. Merry Christmas!
For those who think Dan is demonic...... No demon in it's right mind, would ever sing songs about Jesus Christ! In fact they won't speak his name! And if you speak Christ's name among demons.. THEY MUST FLEE!!! The Bible clearly says that! I believe that Jesus is very pleased with Dan! He brought back to life, the song Amazing Grace !! And he puts his whole heart into it!! Now you HAVE go over to Tommy Johansson's channel and listen to his Swedish version of this song ("O Helga Natt")...He's another metal artist, lead guitarist for Sabaton, who is also very much worth a listen.He plays all the instruments on his videos, arranges his music (sometimes even arranges for Floor of Nightwish!), basically does everything and, on top of that, has an amazing voice and adds some humor to many of his videos.
