Dude, lemme tell you... Captain America: Super Soldier is one of my favorite video games of my life! I played it a ton during my childhood, and have recently gotten back into it just for fun. I play it on the Xbox 360, so I can't "platinum" it, but I have achieved all 50 achievements. Anyway, enough about me. This was an excellent video, and quite frankly, I hope you make more *like* it!
@@thefreemanchannel2005 I used to have it for the Xbox 360 too, that's where I played it for the first time. Like I said in the intro I didn't know about "trophies" then, so I never went for them. Weird that this game keeps showing up in my feed with retrospective videos. I don’t mind though because I do think it’s a solid game. I platinumed it way back when it came out.
The reason why it's not talked about more broadly is due to the release date of it (it is usually a bad idea to release a game alongside a movie as people won't usually know of it if it isn't marketed after or before the movie), and well, because it was only released on consoles. I know, it is a wide demographic, but PC gaming is also pretty huge, and it never released for Windows. With that said, this is one of the few games I really wish would have come to PC as I freaking love it when Viper aka Madame Hydra is mentioned in any medium. Quite an underrated villainess and it only bolsters this game's value to comic fans. Not to mention that the game itself is really good from what I can see.
I actually loved this game. I remember playing it multiple times to get the achievements for my friends who were hunters. After my 3 time I'm was able to get 100% in one sitting.

I remember wanting to play this game sooooooo bad but I was borderline poor and didn't have the then current gen console. I have looked to see if anyone has had a platinum experience for this game, and there hadn't been until now! I love the video bro and nostalgia hits like a truck! I swear.. if Marvel would have put out video game counterparts to movies on release day… I’d be a broke man with 35+ video games sitting around like collectibles. I’m so curious if Gunn’s DCU is gonna commit to video game releases that fit in context of their universe like he said when announcing the phase slate.

@@SayberPlays yeah i so much prefer this game to Marvels Avengers on terms of story and everything tho Avengers pretty much just changed and expanded on the gameplay of Cap, but you've got me hooked and waiting for more platinum videos, I would highly recommend the Arkham Franchise if you've no played it already even to play without getting platinum.

I like Super Soldier's boss fights and story, and I think Avenger's combat feels pretty smooth and I like the ability to change characters. I haven't played much of the Arkham games, but they're definitely on my radar. And I got some more Platinum videos on the way!
Great video but can you try to get the audio of the game and your voice more on par with each other? Your voice volume is great but the game audio is really quiet. P.S I'm listening on phone speakers not headphones.
@@coreybenoit9268 Hm, I have it for PS3 too.. This is probably obvious but did you take a look at the back of the disc and make sure it's not stratched?
@@SayberPlays I had problem at the beginning install,(it's a common problem apparently), so I resurfaced the disc. It played great until I think some point in the third mission.

Great game I platinumed it back in the day and should still have it on disc but it seemed to disappear 🫠
