Pahonia (Belarusian: Пагоня; Russian: Погоня; Pursuit) is a song in Belarusian to the eponymous poem by Maksim Bahdanovič (1891-1917).
The poem “Pahonia” by Maksim Bahdanovič was written in 1916 in Minsk. The music was written by Belarusian composer and immigrant activist Nikolay Shcheglov-Kulikovich (Belarusian: Мікалай Шчаглоў-Куліковіч; Russian: Николай Щеглов-Куликович), who in the 1950s and 1960s released five musical albums in the United States which included his own compositions, covers of ethnic Belarusian songs, and songs to the works of various Belarusian poets. The song was originally meant to be sung a capella.
In 2020, the anthem resurged in popularity as one of the symbols of the 2020 Belarusian protests against the Lukashenko regime, along with the white-red-white flag. The anthem was spontaneously performed in several public places: near the Belarusian State Philharmonia, in malls, in the Minsk subway, at the Minsk Komarovski market, and at the Minsk railway station.
Hay đó bạn ơi:D
Very beautiful ........... I didn't understand anything 😅
English translation:
Only in my heart I hear anxious
Horror for the Motherland, -
I will remember the Holy Sharp Gate
And soldiers on formidable horses.
Horses are rushing in white foam, -
Tearing, snoring and snoring hard…
Ancient Lithuanian Chase
Don’t break, don’t stop, don’t hold back.
In the immeasurable distance you fly,
And behind you, in front of you - years.
Who are you in a hurry to chase?
Where do your paths go and where?
Maybe they, Belarus, rushed
Follow your children,
What they have forgotten, they have denied;
Sold and taken prisoner?
Strike in their hearts - strike with swords,
Don't let us be strangers!
Let them hear your heart at night
About the home page hurts…
Mother native, Mother Country!
Do not calm down such pain…
You forgive me, You accept your son,
Let him die for you! ..
All the horses are flying and flying,
Silver armor rattles away…
Ancient Lithuanian Chase
Don’t break, don’t stop, don’t hold back.
Super!
