  • The Honest Bunch is an audio-visual podcast that focuses on discussing real millennial and Gen Z issues with no holds barred.
There are 4 main personalities on the show - Nedu, Husband Material, Deity Cole, and Naomi. The cast members bring their unique individual personalities and wit to the show. Occasionally, a guest is brought on to share opinions on topics tailored to their experiences, interests, or personalities.
At the Honest Bunch, we are telling original Nigerian realities from the lens of the youth.
The show is stupendously funny, inconceivably revealing, somewhat shocking, and yet unequivocally informative.

Key points from ID Cabasa for me.
    1. Behind every extremism is ignorance.
    2. Inspiration comes from the words "Inner spirit to function"
    3. You cannot produce outside your experience.
    4. Drugs does not amplify your wisdom, it amplifies what you have inside.
    5. Anything you're addicted to, has control over you.
    6. The church wants to take over the music industry with control, but it needs money too.
    7. You want to create? Expose yourself to learning, connectivity with your environment and spirituality.
    8. Top artiste speak less and listen more.
    9. Success is a major distraction. Treat success the way you treat failure - as an experience, not the goal.
    10. Look at what is going on, not what is happening.
    11. Distractions are attractions that makes you lose focus.
    12. "Together forever". Forever is in the hand of God, Together is in our hands.
    13. Africans are wired to see and do.
    14. I might not know who I am, but I know whose I am.
    15. People are more of the things they hide than the things they do.
    16. We try to sell our experience as the truth.

I understand that Nedu is a very busy person but if you decide to come for this podcast, please try and put away your phone. Make your guest know they have your attention. I watch the expression of the guest every time Nedu picks up his phone, there is an expression of ‘what are you doing, you invited me here and you are pressing your phone’.

Who is this cabasa man?! Sir, you have a mission in yhe lives of youths today. Many are lost and you're called to do this. Anyone know his social media handles? Such wisdom! Pour it out for more people to benefit from.

This is also the problem with the hate of African natural hair, our locs and just our natural hairs in general. They kept pushing the agenda that you are not beautiful until you have thin hair, you have to use all these products to dye your hair and relax your hair to look like the white man or the white woman before you're beautiful that when we see Africans with natural hair we say it's dirty and unkept and it isn't beautiful.

I forever knew Cabasa as an humble person but Sexy Steel as Classy extravagant man but this podcast made me respect them more. May God give us more men like these.
Now I understand why Sexy Steel is who he is more and I apologize for the wrong notion I have (then) towards him. ❤❤❤❤

Never knew the drug abuse was so heavy in Nigeria. It’s the same in The Netherlands.. it’s like EVERYBODY is a drug addict! I’ve seen people that looked innocent at parties sniffing and doing all kinds of crazy stuff.
