The song is about how one is stuck in a life that does not bring joy. Hence while he sings “I don’t want to dance but I have to dance”, that translates to say I don’t want to get up but I have to go to work, etc. This repeats over and over again, hence the loop cycle.

Canada checking in, I've got this placing second in the Eurovision Song Contest. It's SUCH an earworm song and its so relevant to so many people. "I don't want to dance but I have to dance" is so heartbreaking yet also dancable. Moved by it and can move to it.

very gloomy guy (not on stage, here in the room)... true Lithuanian :) and doesn't know how to listen his friend.. interrupts her a lot.. God bless him, anyway. And it is good that the song is sung in Lithuanian.. otherwise just a nice beat in nice colour and choreography
