Wow it’s really interesting you mentioned the inner child. I try to follow my inner child in a lot of ways and this has come up for me personally on a spiritual level recently I had an epiphany moment in this that I felt called to share recently. I'm always on guard. Yes, I keep getting mixed emotions from someone, so I'm trying not to get hurt by guarding myself. This person is moving towards me but I am still wary.
