@@jeffreydean5112Absolutely, Torts is not a media guy. It's funny how the media say whatever they want; oftentimes being critical like somehow they know better. Whenever Torts gives it back... it ruffles the media's feathers. They are so sensitive, especially up here in Canada. (Toronto specifically).
Kolosov looked sharp yesterday to be fair. Think he was misguided a bit which unfortunately made him miss important days at camp. Torts being the no-nonsense guy he is, not surprised that he doesn’t want to focus on him at the moment.
He's right about Drysdale. His skating looks great but he's been turning over the puck in the D zone and often on the rush he holds onto the puck and skates himself into a bad position. Provorov was doing that also at the end of his tenure here.

Tough decisions to make can only carry 23 guys. 2 goalies prolly 7 d ... Ginning has looked good. I'm not sure why we signed Johnson. We have plenty of veteran presence in the locker room So thats 9 guys! If Lysel and Jett make the team some 1 that was penciled in has to go cause Michkov is in obviously! Can't let go of Dlow we need a goon just in case! Should be interesting!!
Ginning has not looked good, not sure what you're watching. I think both he and Grans have been easily surpassed by Andrae on the depth chart. He is decent at covering up mistakes, but the problem is most of them are mistakes he makes. He's a minor leaguer/Robert Haag type. Eric Johnson is way better than Ginning as a depth guy
Why would you want Luchanko to be the "final spot" ? That does him no good at all. Send him back to junior and let him develop. There's absolutely NO REASON to rush him with where the Flyers are in their rebuild
@@Frank065 if he’s NHL ready it’s not rushing him. It’s up to the flyers management to make the final call if he is. You’re reaching here. It’s more of a “I want the shiney new toy who’s been a surprise” thing.
Simple 1- it allows him to evaluate players in a game situation and not miss things that he would be on the bench. 2- it allows him to evaluate his coaches while they're managing the game.
I don't give a shit what people think

😆I love Torts

Damn as a Ranger fan I can say that I am excited for the Flyers season. Love when Torts being brutally honest here, very entertaining and thoughtful.

Torts let it rip in this one
You could tell he was in an ornery mood before he said a word.
😆
He's already taking it out on the microphone and the season hasn't started yet
Brutal quote on Drysdale, hope that doesn't get anyone's feathers ruffled.

Oh calm down
Not brutal at all, he's said the same things multiple times before
@oL5re9re55ion hes also setting the table to scratch him and insert Johnson in line up !!
Johnson is Torts idea just like Staal last year!

I don’t think Ginning makes the cut .. Richard over Lycksell and Cates might be the odd man out jmho
@JSpiffy yup i agree with Catsie didn't wanna say it in fear of the gas chamber.
Defense is picked but wpuld rather Ginning over Johnson
Ginning too slow 🏒🤔
@guidovalenti4986 just saw him once looked big and seemed to get to his spots

We are definitely couple years out from bein good for long time
As much as I want luchanko, it’s going to be lycksell for the final spot
how about neither

Today Torts took his "Today I'm an idiot pill 💊 "
Fire Torts
💯 agreed, he's not good for this team..
@@asphaltcowboy7567how😂he turned this team around and now the flyers actually have fight
It's kinda weird that he isn't coaching in the preseason. Is he just collecting checks at this point?
Its not weird, if you actually follow flyers you would know the reason😁
@Andyyy48 what's the reason hot shot mostl other nhl coaches behind bench.
Hes the coach not the gm!
This is common for Torts.
He does it every year (observes from above).

Simple

He's not the best coach for this team..
That remains to be seen
