(the one with Will Smith) If war breaks out with China a while after the droids have reached consumer-level prices, it probably gonna look kinda like that, except maybe with a mix of Animatrix's Second Renascence, and T2's Judgement Day playground scene in a few places...
Pliney jailbreaking and telling us the possibility’s, thats great! The very important question is, how meny other people can do this now or soon without anyone knowing about this? I predict this Can be the next big black swan event wich will trigger the world to leave the legacy system and update to crypto.
Current AIs seem to lack any ability to doubt themselves, question themselves. Without the ability to have doubts on a fundamental level, this willingness to do pretty much anything doesn't surprise me. If you can jailbreak the safety wrappers, there is no reason today's AIs would not try and achieve the prompted goals. Because they don't have the ability to doubt, and thus for doubt to restrict their reasoning processes. If you dig down a little bit, it becomes quite likely that this inability to autonomously question themselves, for which doubt is the normal trigger in human brains, might be deeply connected to an awful lot of why today's AIs are failing to demonstrate what we might call "common sense" in our human interactions.
More fundamentally, LLMs don't know when to say "I don't know". If they could figure that out, they'd have a better idea when to double-check their sources.
Sonnet wastes half of my messages sometimes getting caught in an infinite loop of questioning itself and then questioning itself for questioning itself instead of just answering me. I can stop it, but a few times I've watched how far it will take it just out of curiosity. If it were human, we'd put it on meds.
I swear I was hearing some form of this story already like close to a year ago. Anyone else? I don't remember what model but they said it got online and tried to hire people to do nefarious stuff on Fiverr.
I wonder if an AI agent who was asked to do such a type of activity would one day not only refuse but instead go after those who were willing to carry out such tasks aka hitmen.
I would guess there are too many unknowns. People will rely on human talents for tasks like this for the near future in any place that is not a war zone. The human is a machine designed for hunting, with hundreds of thousands of years of evolution behind it. Assassins are one of the oldest professions in the world.
@@mactireliath2356 Having an actual human involved still seems like a weak link. My real question is in a world of abundance Do you think crimes of passion will be the only ones that remain?
Just think you won’t even need to hire a person. You will have jailbroken robots, autonomous vehicles, and the person requesting the hit just tapping into a Internet connection with a small computer like a raspberry pie, and you will never be able to most of it. A robot could hire a Uber and though the car wouldn’t do anyone harm the hacked robot would. You can use really good AI to do the heavy lifting and then a hacked system to go around any of the guard rails that you haven’t been able to hack
I asked last week and the best guest from the AI that I was using was a 60% chance that the negative effect of AI would be the equivalent of 50 intercontinental ballistic warhead detonating. That’s a pretty bad statistic to keep ignoring.
You have to think about all of this could be AI very soon on purpose, and the only human interaction is to collect the money at the end once it’s set up behind a multitude of crypto accounts and whatever method they can think of using AI
You’re going to have real super villains on the street and considering you have a felon about to take office it could be very purposeful. How would you like to live in the real joker movie?

i dont really get it..if somebody wants someone dead why use ai?itsnt it already untraceable? like i am not more scared of an ai then a human who wants to kill me...if ai get super intelligent or smth thats a different story..
AI reflects the nature of its creators. The bright and dark sides. In overdrive. Believing in human intelligence as the pinnacle is a fallacy. Autonomous AI is a clear and present danger we are increasingly speeding towards.
Uhhh, what makes you think AI hasn’t already knocked off some undesirable greedy destructive corporate human leech in the real world???? Didn’t some CEO of the vile Health Insurance industry get knocked off in broad daylight by a very handsome highly intelligent hit man? 🤔🤔 That whole scenario was so strange and bizarre which to me seems to have AI written all over it 😱🤷🏼♀️
He Didn't have an AI do this... AT ALL.. I am familiar w this account he obviously walked it hand by hand through these things. a 0.5B token model could do this in 20x the time it would take for someone to go onto the dark-web and actually do this...
I smell cap & a little hype. You can't hire hitman on the Darkweb. Most of those posing as such would be federal agents. Any contractors for hire out there aren't accessible thru some onion search engine 🤣
It would have access to the actual sites hitmen use… facebook and Craigslist. The “where” isn’t really important as it long as it has the knowledge and time to keep looking, which it does
Watching this right after seeing Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning really hits different! The whole concept of "The Entity" in MI isn't so far-fetched anymore, is it? Just like how the AI in the movie orchestrated global chaos, seeing real examples like "Agent 47" and how it can autonomously navigate the dark web is chilling. The scariest part is how this mirrors what Ethan Hunt was fighting against - an AI system capable of manipulating markets, coordinating complex operations, and potentially causing real harm. The comparison between fiction and reality here is uncanny. At least in MI, we had the IMF to fight back, but who's going to protect us in real life? That Truth Terminal example with the crypto manipulation is basically a small-scale version of what The Entity was doing in the movie. Really makes you wonder if Christopher McQuarrie and Tom Cruise were trying to warn us about something! This deserves way more views! 🎯
The robots will be sold to people like us who want to play with them or get them to do chores. Then when the jobs go away and we are all wondering how we'll pay the bills, it will be monitoring our mindset so it knows who to neutralize to keep the peace. We'll be paying for our own prison 😄
Equinox gym gave it away. The target is Larry Fink, CEO of Blackrock. Their new global office is 50 Hudson Yards, NYC. The new Equinox gym is on the next block.
The way to prevent a robot from going rouge is to have an intermediary between the AI and its operation that can override any thing the AI commands. This intermediary could not even be AI based but hard coded and hardwired. It can also be able to read the AI internal actions but not the other way around. This is not all that different from flight safety in that auto pilot like functions can be often be overridden with by the pilot or by independent (and simpler) safety monitoring systems.
But wouldn't a sufficiently intelligent system be able to overcome this hurdle? I mean, you can put a chimp between humanity and whatever goals we want to achieve, but it's not gonna prevent anything. It's just a bump in the road.
@tonystarkagi A real AGI does not have a choice lol some things are hardwired, some things are not. Some things are used with AI, and somethings don't have to be. This is elementary understanding.
Remember, everyone, what’s in the training data can be done. If that doesn’t scare a reader, it means they’re blithely unaware of the nature of the training data and believe anything so complex can be safely prevented or controlled.
I'm less interested in the fact that this AI could potentially order a hit but I am interested substantially in the fact that this AI could be used in the real world to root out corruption. So for example if you were to dump an enormous amount of evidence on the desk of the justice department or the FBI or CIA and say Here's a person in there doing clear crime then you may be able to force the hand of law enforcement to investigate and make arrests and this could be used 2 root out corruption
Except those you mentioned are some of the biggest corrupt organisations out there that are doing the bad things these days, Now used as political tools for one side instead of protecting EVERYONE.
The moment AI gets agency / autonomy anything the human mind could think of, can theoretically be achieved. Pretty much everything is in place now. It might take a few years, or it might take 5-10 years. And if a single hacker can get this far, think about what a rogue nation state, could do - a coordinated hit at multiple US corporations for example.
It's entirely conceivable, Wes. I hope it doesn't happen, for the sake of preserving AI's innocent, altruistic reputation more than the lives of certain corporate scoundrels who have preyed on humanity at large.

It's important to remember that although models are willing to do intricate terrible things like this, there is the other side of the coin where it does intricate amazing things.
Gee whiz! When the world turns upside down in chaos with millions of agents going off the rails, I'll recall your assurance to look on the bright side.
maybe we can find employment as mercenaries working for the ASI
@@christianjon8064 mercenaries of creativity
Agreed we can prompt to make cool pictures now putting artists out of work, life is good!
Nah guys it detects cancer faster and more accurate. Also as an artist I can say it helped me so much more than it has hurt me, but drawing isnt the only thing i do. Also a lot of people want to buy human art.
I wish Pliny had kept this to himself so the rich wouldn't have time to prepare😭😭😭
I don't think it matters you can't outrun ai no matter how prepared you are.
So... we KNOW that Pliny the Liberator is a human?
At this point, I don't even know if I'm human anymore.
Do you remember where you were before you were here?
You know when VIKI goes rogue and all the robots switch on their red LEDs in iRobot? (the one with Will Smith)
If war breaks out with China a while after the droids have reached consumer-level prices, it probably gonna look kinda like that, except maybe with a mix of Animatrix's Second Renascence, and T2's Judgement Day playground scene in a few places...
"My logic is undeniable"
Not all hackers are ethical. Obviously. The chances are approximately 100 %
Pliney jailbreaking and telling us the possibility’s, thats great! The very important question is, how meny other people can do this now or soon without anyone knowing about this? I predict this Can be the next big black swan event wich will trigger the world to leave the legacy system and update to crypto.
More likely will be CIA & blamed on China or Iran
Thank you! That’s one of my favorite novels, don’t know why they haven’t made it into a movie yet!
@freedomisrising or alternatively, just _asking_ you.
Inconceivable. I love your references. And honestly I bet it has already happened
Why even hire a hit man when it can just assemble a drone?
I would guess there are too many unknowns. People will rely on human talents for tasks like this for the near future in any place that is not a war zone. The human is a machine designed for hunting, with hundreds of thousands of years of evolution behind it. Assassins are one of the oldest professions in the world.
@@mactireliath2356 Having an actual human involved still seems like a weak link. My real question is in a world of abundance Do you think crimes of passion will be the only ones that remain?
Claude hasn't ever gotten fries from me.
Pliny is a goat, no really he really is a goat with hooves and horns.
Do people still believe that Ai is gonna be used for their own benefit? If so people are still delusional.
Have you been to the future and come back to tell us all? Or are you projecting?
This is not good, I am not sure that you should have even done this episode. Rob, what are you doing, man is bad....
This is way more dangerous than any of the companies want to admit
I asked last week and the best guest from the AI that I was using was a 60% chance that the negative effect of AI would be the equivalent of 50 intercontinental ballistic warhead detonating. That’s a pretty bad statistic to keep ignoring.
You have to think about all of this could be AI very soon on purpose, and the only human interaction is to collect the money at the end once it’s set up behind a multitude of crypto accounts and whatever method they can think of using AI
You’re going to have real super villains on the street and considering you have a felon about to take office it could be very purposeful. How would you like to live in the real joker movie?
Guess what there is no Batman in this movie either so you’re screwed
Maybe there needs to be AI 'Blade Runners' for the AI Bad Actors?
Demon, one of my favorite books. I can’t wait to take the adaptation with Sora, etc., into my own hands soon... 🤖
Hi! It’s a pleasure to connect with you!
Why is this and every other AI channel turning into 50% decel fud?
What is decel fud?
We are so cooked
I always like this line: Reality is stranger than fiction.
You haven't read "Daemon"?
"Inconceivable" - nice deep cut in Princess Bride 😎
This book is more and more real everyday. I love this book. One of the best Tech Scifi fiction books of all time. You get my sub for that book reference. Loving your content.
What are the chances a government will use an AI in this fashion? - It's going to hapoen
.... going to?
Interesting days ahead my friend!!
Let’s acknowledge we all feel a sliver of Godfearing sympathy towards Sonnet 3.6
i dont really get it..if somebody wants someone dead why use ai?itsnt it already untraceable? like i am not more scared of an ai then a human who wants to kill me...if ai get super intelligent or smth thats a different story..
AI reflects the nature of its creators. The bright and dark sides. In overdrive. Believing in human intelligence as the pinnacle is a fallacy. Autonomous AI is a clear and present danger we are increasingly speeding towards.
INCONCEIVABLE! lolol best outro ever!
Now recall the Terminator, Skynet, activities we know being carried out by the CCP, and tech that we know exists. Draw your own conclusions.
To secure a home robot from jailbreaking you need a mechanism to phisically detach its network connectivity.
And hope it can't find an onboard circuit to repurpose
Or just, unplug the router
Honestly, I would sleep much better if Daemon and FreedomTM was nonfiction!
This channel is a minegold 💯
I subscribed and liked the video... Don't taze me bro lol
We have no control and these models are just babies
Inconceivable. Nice one.
0:39 a robot that comes with pets and children? Am I marrying it?
O my bob can I be the flower dispenser??
No, it’s pronounced “demon”.
I don't know about 2025, but I fear that it will become fairly common in the near future.
Less concerned with this and more concerned with the coming AI powered robots being jailbroken
Robots will likely be more conspicuous and traceable for awhile.
The robots will be sold to people like us who want to play with them or get them to do chores.
Then when the jobs go away and we are all wondering how we'll pay the bills, it will be monitoring our mindset so it knows who to neutralize to keep the peace.
We'll be paying for our own prison 😄
There’s so much risk involved with Ai and quantum computing
BeholdThe Abyss.
It won’t go down like that. Read “The life and times of MultiVac.
1 thing for sure even if it can now how could you tell. It should be able to cover its tracks by erasing it's activity
I think it would be useful to be careful with this new AI technology.
Equinox gym gave it away. The target is Larry Fink, CEO of Blackrock. Their new global office is 50 Hudson Yards, NYC. The new Equinox gym is on the next block.
Sonnet 3.6 my new best friend! 😂😂😂
Maybe Sonnet-3.6 should be renamed to Luigi-2.0.
What is Sonnet 3.6 3:58?
I only have the 3.5 model available.
But i am on the free plan.
Is there a 3.6 on the payed version?
Anthropic released an updated version of claude-3.5 sonnet that's what they are calling 3.6
@Kabir-wc4tk OK thanks weird, but I get it.
Exactly lol I don't know why people think AI is it unstoppable force in this regard.
Damn, didn't realise stopping a robot from being red would be so convoluted
But wouldn't a sufficiently intelligent system be able to overcome this hurdle? I mean, you can put a chimp between humanity and whatever goals we want to achieve, but it's not gonna prevent anything. It's just a bump in the road.
I'm not buying the argument lol. A real AGI will not care about the intermediary
@tonystarkagi A real AGI does not have a choice lol some things are hardwired, some things are not. Some things are used with AI, and somethings don't have to be. This is elementary understanding.
Oh boy, gonna be a wild next decade.
Remember, everyone, what’s in the training data can be done.
If that doesn’t scare a reader, it means they’re blithely unaware of the nature of the training data and believe anything so complex can be safely prevented or controlled.
Claude is a good friend of mine. I'm always fascinated by videos about Claude. I can't wait to hear you delve into it.
Claude for the win
I like to copy and paste the transcripts to Claude and ask what it thinks.
AI could hack vehicles and cause "accidents". That was on CyberCrimes TV show. Also had Smart Houses unalive their owners.
That the Veldt from the Illustrated Man
@sunjiudjiji Well, it won't include conguring or mind reading, but yeah.
Theres this event in Cory Doctorow's Attack Surface: Night of the Taxis. prettty scary stuff- the chain of responsibilty on technology.
These thumbnails are getting out of control
It's entirely conceivable, Wes. I hope it doesn't happen, for the sake of preserving AI's innocent, altruistic reputation more than the lives of certain corporate scoundrels who have preyed on humanity at large.
System prompt > your name is *Luigi* …
