Giant 50Watt blinding white COB LED is 40mm x 46mm in overall size with a 28mm x 28mm active area. The active area consists of 120 powerful white LED chips. Operates on 12-14VDC @ 3.750Amps. This LED develops 4,000 lumens and produces a great quantity of room filling blinding white light 10,000K. Even though this LED has an aluminum base, it must be mounted to a heatsink.
@kleetus92 - The camera has been "white balanced" for the studio lights in the first few seconds. Once the LED was turned on the light looks "Purple". The rooom was actually filled with White Light not Purple. Sorry for the confusion.
is it as bright as the 36v 50w cob?
I purchased this COB LED. Should it be powered by a constant current driver @ 3.75A, or a constant voltage driver @ 12VDC? I could not find a datasheet through a web search.
at 10,000k that purple appearance really is what it looks like vs a 'normal' white light, correct? Is this more of a grow lamp than an area lighting chip?
