I love how one of the most iconic romantic scene in this show is just a lot of talking, shy questioning of emotions and actually asking to kiss and agreeing before hand. the entire series worth of accidental touches doesn't feel as steamy or emotional as this. The magic of slow edit, zero action and just human interaction
Yes, and to Ranma's remake I say that I don't need your flashy animation, I just need this, and until now episode 3, mappa hasn't fully delivered in the emotional moments.
@@schris3 hmmm I'm not so sure about that. I do think that the slow directing and dramatic music really do work wonders in the original but its a bit melodramatic at times. so watching the new version, which is more quick and light hearted, is very different to us, old viewers . But for someone who hasn't watched the original - it still tugs at the heart strings. I'm still waiting to see how they deal with this scene! and the rest of the show in general. the real test is to see if they keep the sweet will-they-wont-they dynamic in every episode, and not just one in ten like the original anime did.
The true Ranma experience is fighting through the first season being annoyed with every character that isn’t Akane, Ranma or Ryoga. After that you just accept your fate with the rest of the seasons extras.
I'm not a native speaker of english but I really enjoy Ranma and Akane's voices, they are so cute, so nice and I can understand every phrase perfectly.
Sameeee! En México tuvimos un muy buen doblaje de esta serie, pero este doblaje es buenísimo. Ranma hombre es doblado por una mujer aquí y suena muy natural, realmente como un chico de 16 años.
I saw the scenery in the newer version. Without background music, it's more intense... He did worry for her sometimes as She did before that chapter. Their first ever teamup showed they're the same : They faced an unbeatable martial skating couple despite being noobs at that... Funny when Ryoga was pointing the kiss in front of everyone... ...With a cute collar on the neck!!!
Just watched the new one, I feel the pace and background music are better in the old version. Also may be it is just me, the new version tries to save anime effort - same facial expression and eyes compared to hand draw old version (more variance in character facial expression). I feel the old Raman background music is a notch better than new - make me realize how great old Raman music really was.
"pfft hahahaha they are almost going to kiss but their family is there!!!!! ^_^ bwuahahahahahahhaah!!!!!!" Both of Happosai's students and two of his surrogate granddaughters are voyeurs. They would really make the old man proud.
@@CipherRage0909 I think they wanted to match Inuyasha's and Ranma's VA just as the Japanese dub? Still, Sarah's work is 💯. She managed to sound like a 16 yo guy so naturally.
I like the remake but I have to say the VA’s in the old version we’re top tier. The guy that currently plays Ranma is to mature for Ranma’s personality
Honestly that sweep is really smooth.
The ironic thing is, that both Akane's and Ranma's families want them to be together but intentionally get in the way of it.
Exactly😢
More like forcefully. 😑😑
Even if it’s not under the pressure of their families, Ranma and Akane do care for each other
So what happeneds between them? Do they still get together or break up?
@@Simp4Muzan.2 they didn't get married.

"Hahahahahahahahahaha!"
Stupid Warrior's Code
ranma and akane's voice is so cute..
I like how Kitsume is so disappointed that Ranma can't see Akane wants him to kiss her.
Kasumi
Huh?
How nice Ranma is checking for consent.
The true Ranma experience is fighting through the first season being annoyed with every character that isn’t Akane, Ranma or Ryoga.

😂
Why is this so accurate
it's like akane wants to get kissed
Yeah 😏
Obviously.
She does 😂
0:47 And that, ladies and gentlemen, is how you sweep a woman off her feet.
Very supportive family
These two tug on my heartstrings so much ffs.

I miss the Ocean casts. 😢
well that's one way of sweeping a girl off her feet. :))

But I thought the background music added more to the scene! Personally I feel the 90s anime style will beat the newer 2024 style any day 😅

Akane wanted Ranma to kiss her xD
No way captain obvious
This is why locks would make a good investment for the Tendo Dojo lol
Finally found the English dub that I watched all those years ago
I come from 2024 to announce that this show is getting a remake!!
Ty
this was peak ranma and akane
Ranma: “I wasn’t plannin’ to kiss ya!”
Akane: *(Uses Reverse Psychology)*
Can't wait for the next episode.
pfft hahahaha they are almost going to kiss but their family is there!!!!! ^_^ bwuahahahahahahhaah!!!!!!

2:35 my reaction xD
Just kiss already dammit!
I cant wait to see this in the new version!! ❤ this is one of my favourite scenes.
Yes and with the old background music 💝✨
@@jarminsangha9188yes! Love that music! I wonder what music they will use!
this was one of my favorite scenes when i first watched this show lol
Ohhh they're challenging their own feelings.
1:36 Close your eyes 💀🤣
Just kiss your damn fiancé
He'll be lucky to survive a beating from Akane, which I doubt it.
Agree. But just keep his hands to himself and no tongue. Unless he wants Akane to obliterate him. XD
I really love the background music I want to know what it's called
I know I'm late and it's probably irrelevant by now, but the song is called "Okay is not the word"
@@maxmetalknightI’ve been looking for it for so long tyyy
La mejor escena en todos los idiomas ❤️
Aaaashhh the 80s
It's actually got popularity in 90s . It's actually 1989 anime with dragonball z
But to be honest the old anime's thy was better
Ranma actually had a point
I Love both Sarah Strange and Richard Ian Cox as Ranma and I can't choose which of them are my favourites😭😭😭😭😭😭
Props to Sarah Strange, it's pretty uncommon to have women voice male characters aside of little boys in western dubs.
Sarah was great and I did liked her a little more than Richard. Because it's literally just Inuyasha.

"Estão deixando agente sonhar"
One of my favorite episodes. Ranma became a flirt because of the bandage strip. lol
No, this is a different episode.
For some reason, Ranma sounds like Sonic.
Close your eyes
Can you guys believe a remake is coming out and it’s going to be on Netflix
Akane sounds much more older than Ranma xD
0:48 I'm dying 💚
whippedd!
the feels
Pretty sure its not the original voice 🤔 or am i wrong i remeber watching this scene
so beautiful hahahhh I like ittt
What if Ranma were a girl when they tried to kiss? That would boost viewerships online, right?
what this episode ??? tell me please
It's shown at the beginning of the video ✌🏻️
I like the remake but I have to say the VA’s in the old version we’re top tier. The guy that currently plays Ranma is to mature for Ranma’s personality
I feel like this is more mature
I wish they actually did it!! 😭😭
why ranma do it to akane kiss😓😓😓😓
He's chipped feet.
I really love the eng dub..
And their families ruined it
Tsundere x Tsundere!
Ranma sounds a lot, like Del Harvey from "To Catch a Predator", when she's acting like a male decoy
Awwwww
Is a chick dubbing Ranma?
Was. After Sarah Strange left, a guy named Richard Ian Cox took over before he started voicing Inuyasha afterward.
OST?
Armys are everywhere 😂
BGM title is “Okay Is Not The Word” 💕
@@karicx0524 Thanks😁
Looks like Ranma really swept Akane off her feet. Literally.
