Man ! I can still remember that day at Dhaka University registrar building ground 1991, 2nd BAMBA open air concert. We came out from the morning class that day and ran frantically to the ground to get a better place to watch the bands play. We got astounded to found 3 of our known heavy metal bands Warfaze, Rockstrata & In Dhaka who used to do english heavy metal covers. We were confused that what composition they will do. This was starter and it just hit us reeeeeel hard ! Damn ! Komol played the tappings for the first time ! My eyes were popping out from unexplainable excitement ! Sunjoy was the original vocalist ! The whole ground was mesmerized as 80% of the crowd was not used to Heavy Metal music and in BANGLA !
You know what brother? You should definitely start a RUclips channel yourself, talking and sharing all these amazing stories about all these bands and concert memories. I am super glad that you write these comments but more importantly, the new generation should know about how it feels to be a rock fan of Bangladesh since the 80s and 90s because you have lived that age. In Bangladesh, there's a saying: "Warfaze is not just a band; it's a musician-making institution" because the number of talented musicians produced by this band throughout their journey is enormous
"Sadhikar" is the first song produced by the band Warfaze, which was released in the mixed album "Hooray!" in 1990. This song also features on Warfaze's self-titled debut album, which was released the following year in 1991.

Oh Addie BOy ! you're making me nostalgic ! I was with my closest friend Puchi, who was also a quality Blues-Rock guitarist. We were watching closely the band performances in that BAMBA live concert and analyzing the solos and gimmicks of the guitarists ! We were more than excited and it took the whole day with performances by other bands- the best day in our university days. Sadly we lost our dearest friend Puchi 2008 Dec 3, in an arson. Just 2 months before that we all friends together enjoyed the 25th anniversary of Warfaze and that was the last concert attended by Puchi. Rest in Peace dear brother !
