Oh man, the sound of that low engine rumble when he's just tickling the throttle... The low, menacing burble, almost like the cat is quietly purring before it goes into full attack mode... It's such a gorgeous sound.
The only other cars i can think of is the lexus LFA and the pagani zonda R its so loud that it's not allowed onto any racetrack because it breaches the noise limit on every track in the world you'd have to have your own race track.
I'm a lot tech for a Porsche dealer, I get to drive Porsches but nothing sounds like this. I got to drive this car on the street and man was it the coolest thing ever. I kept it in second gear the whole time just to get it to back fire when I let off the gas. And the acceleration is awesome.
You do realize that this thing is powered by the Ford mustangs 5.0 coyote engine right? Sorry didn't mean to shatter your false pretense of reality. Have fun spending more money on a glamoured up mustang. I'll just settle for the less expensive version lol. Oh and here's another freebie, Holdens v8 powered vehicles are powered by Chevy! Oh no xD
Jeff Raymond Slow your roll cupcake. I'm fully aware of the contract Jag has with Ford engines (until 2019 or so). However, please fact check before posting... The engines that are sourced from Ford are the V6 and In-line 6 that is used in the lines, not the V8. The 5.0 is a new V8. The previous AJ-V8 engine was actually reverse shared with Ford in products from Lincoln, Ford and Land Rover.. The Land Rover relationship continues since the brands were blended by Ford and sold as a package to Tata. Hence the V8 Land Rovers and Range Rovers contain Jaguar V8's..That said, the only true Jag engine is the V8. All others are out sourced. Here is a Popular Mechanics article about it... www.popularmechanics.com/cars/news/4299169 :) And to be honest, even if what you typed was remotely accurate, I'd still pick the Jaguar. Although more expensive, the handling is leagues better, as well as the overall package I'd be receiving for my $.
I was lucky enough to be able to drive one of these the other day and it was truly amazing...I don't really like Jaguars but this one i could live with. :) great video.
0:33...Yeat, that is the moment when one of the most beautiful cars meet the one of the ugliest, It's something like night and day, black & white etc...
I actually enjoyed hearing that car engine in the background 1:03 even more than this Jag. I felt like I was playing Need For Speed or Midnight Club during night-time (in the game that is, and you hear those distant racers burning rubber, so nostalgic!)
i had one last weekend for a couple of days...it was f type v6 s version only....and dammmmmnnnnnn it sounds sooooo sexyyyyyy i cant stop dreaming about it...the rev sound damnn turns on any guy. straight non straight it will turn him on...offff ...although its not crazy powerful given that it was the v6 and i own XFR but sound even better than a ferrari at low speeds when u turn the exhaust sound button on
even at "low rev" it sounds like a Jaguar growling at you! then you hit the higher end of the "rev range" and what a SNAP, it makes "rice crispies" look like PU**IES!!!! Snap, crackle what? NO Way, the 6 cylinder has just an epic sound to it as well!! Jag, has really hit the "modern age" and with these two cars. NO valves or anything that I'm aware of. Just pure unadulterated exhaust music!!!
Well definitely a good sound. But i am still not sure about the rattling. I think its way too much especially during the downshifts. Maserati is doing a way better job there with the Granturismo Mc Stradale for example in my opinion.
+chad givens and if I had enough money, I'd be able to buy ford. But it wouldn't make Ford any less American, and they'd still be built in the States. Jaguar is a British car manufacturer, the headquarters are in England, and all jaguar vehicles are engineered and built in England. Tata motors are simply part owners.
To the people who made the exhaust for the jag: THANK YOU
You would be thanking the people over at ducatis exhaust department
You said it wrong. Not for the jag... for the JAAAAAGGG
The Jaguar F-Type V8 R is surely one of the best sounding European V8 out there at the moment!
it sure is
It's also one of the sexiest
what about the mercedes amg gt?
Gumbal Is this in the Netherlands?
Gumbal i really do think it sounds better than any mustang or camaro honestly
Forget the Jaguar, look at that Fiat Multipla at 0:33 !!! Simply stunning.

At low RPM revs it literally sounds like a jaguar growling...DAMN
7.000 my friend, even kickass the Maserati;-)
And at high RPM it sounds like a jaguar after mexican food.
Oh man, the sound of that low engine rumble when he's just tickling the throttle... The low, menacing burble, almost like the cat is quietly purring before it goes into full attack mode... It's such a gorgeous sound.
I don't know, that Multipla at 0:34 really steals the show...
And look at the beautiful colour of it too!
car of the century!
What's the best sounding car out there at the moment? The Jaguar F-Type R Coupe is definitely one of them!
One of the best sounds I've ever heard
The only other cars i can think of is the lexus LFA and the pagani zonda R its so loud that it's not allowed onto any racetrack because it breaches the noise limit on every track in the world you'd have to have your own race track.

This car makes most American 'muscle' sound like 4 cylinder civics. Without the dumb US regulations and restrictions. Cheers. :)

I love it even though it rides like a high powered skate board.
Sounds just like a Jaguar snarl or bark at low rpm revving. Very intoxicating exhaust note for sure. Thank you again Jaguar.

0:33...Yeat, that is the moment when one of the most beautiful cars meet the one of the ugliest, It's something like night and day, black & white etc...

Stock, but with the exhaust baffles open.

Justin soll sich mal einen Jaguar F-Type anschauen, der hat 575ps.
Wow!
2:13 sounds like a ERM...a jaguar its uncanny!
It would sound 10 times better in a manual instead of people just letting off the G-pedal to get the back-firing noise.
That red F-type is so sexy!
