I was about to have a mental breakdown cuz of a question similar to this , I thank you kind sir for your work, keep it up and we love you + you are amazing²
The substitution u=2x-7 greatly simplifies the calculations. You immediately get the integral from -7 to 7 of |u|/2 du. Which by parity is equal to the integral from 0 to 7 of u du = 1/2 u^2 evaluated from 0 to 7 = 49/2
Oh yeah, so here's a trick, so we have |2x - 7|, just set that equal to zero |2x - 7| = 0, so 2x - 7 = 0, so 2x = 7, so x = 7/2, always works for these types of problems:) That is where 2x - 7 changes sign, that's why we break it up at x = 7/2 Hope this helps!!
This doesn’t make sense at all! No comprende! I do not understand Math at all! I hate it. Failed Algebra 1 twice in college! I just want to know: What does it mean to “ integrate” Two numbers. What’s it mean? How do you do it? And Why? What’s the purpose of it?
Simple and straight to the point, that's a like right there.

I have lx^2-x+2l and I will fail maths tomorrow at exam. It's been fun, see you on the other side

I was very confused how to approach modulus function, Well done. Thank you :)
Welcome❤️
hey thanks! i hope more people find out about your channel :D
You are welcome and me too lol👍

For D^-1 abs 2x + 7, 0->7, it's much easier, figure why.
Since x>|-7/3 for 2x+7|>0, within 0 and 7, abs 2x+7=2x+7
Thanks alot this helped alot i will tell more people to subscribe to your channel 👏🏼
thank you!
math triggers my anxiety and thiis really helped. thanks! 😭
So helpful! Corona time!
It helped me a lot,sir
Thanks
Excellent
That was really great man...thanks
My pleasure!
I have similar doubt in question - integral 0 to 1 |2x-1|.dx
But now i can do just simply with help of this video
This can also be solved geometrically. This how it goes: 12.25 + 12.25 = 24.5 or 49/2
Thank you sir . Love from india .
You are welcome❤️
Thank you so much sir, a sum similar to this was frustrating me and I found this video it was so helpful!
This was quite helpful. Thanks a ton!
Thank youuuuuu, love from Egypt ❤❤❤❤
Thanks... I was very interested in it
I pray you are a teacher in a good school.
thank you so much!
You are welcome!
Thanks
ty
glad it helped!
Great works here.
thanks
what if i have integral of |x^2+4x| 😭
i dont understand how to determine which limit of intergral is - or +
Awesome 👏
I wish you could explained the boundaries MORE
what if we have been asked to evaluate in terms of area, can we use the same way?
Pretty much definite Integration of a function is the area under it's curve.
good solution
I'm from India 🇮🇳
Very helpful! Thanks a lot 🫡
Where is 7/2 coming from
I know this is late but I just think he equals the formula to 0. So 2x-7=0 to get x by itself which will get 7/2 at least that’s what I think.
@@angelaguilar249 oh thank you
where do you get the x=
7/2
Oh yeah, so here's a trick, so we have |2x - 7|, just set that equal to zero

@@TheMathSorcerer I understood the point on where to get the 7/2 but I'm still a bit confused why it's -(2x-7). :(
Definition of absolute value, |x| = -x if x
I will try to make more of these, this is always a hard topic for people
@@TheMathSorcerer thank u so much 💜✨✨✨✨✨✨ you're so great
