They used to give us question like Multiply (567x 925). But during the 5th grade and beyond when I was introduced to Algebra, Geometry and Linear Equations. Math was never the same for me. It revolutionized my thought process from incomprehensible digits to a graphical representation of Mathematics. And the practice of doing easy and quick calculations in algebra or to the point of even setting equations for solving problems in Arithmetic just changed the way how I looked into Maths previously. And in 11th grade when I am introduced to function and the world of Calculus along with the previous concept of Coordinate Geometry, I could see graphs in Cartesian system as funky diagrams. I just get to know what to calculate just by thinking of Vectors in 3D space. Calculus even was and is now my favourite part of Analytical Science and it just revolutionized my thought process for the limitless conclusions in Physics and Engineering we can draw from it. Please anyone who thinks the same answer to this comment. This will give me the consolation that I am not the only one.....

I’ve never been “excited” about PE. It’s a mid as hell period and math is extremely underrated. People won’t know what to do without it and early algebra is like using apples and oranges again. I think PE is hell of an overrated period and should be placed lower.
You got a lucky school in Texas. When I was in Texas, EVERYONE made stupid choices. Moved out the next year since I realized that those teachers don’t teach well. I even tried helping stop stupidity.

ngl math was fun especially the proving part back in highschool i would ask for my advisers textbooks just so i could read axioms,theorems and postulates for proving stuff and once you learn it and master it you will find it quite fun though it will take some effort also not only will learning math make it fun, but also will make you excel at it. If you excel in math you get a variety of opportunities like joining olympiads or other things.. personally my first olympiad was pretty hard as expected, the teacher in our highschool said that the preparation for it should have been months like other schools, however me and the other participants from my school only got 2 weeks lmao and as expected none of us got the highest score though i did get 45/75 which i would say was good enough but the next one(which was my last olympiad actually) i actually got ta perfect score in both the written and oral phase! its not for everybody but math really should not be badmouthed its very much sensical when given to the right minds

I’ve never been “excited” about PE. It’s a mid as hell period and math is extremely underrated. People won’t know what to do without it and early algebra is like using apples and oranges again. I think PE is hell of an overrated period and should be placed lower.

back in highschool i would ask for my advisers textbooks just so i could read axioms,theorems and postulates for proving stuff and once you learn it and master it you will find it quite fun though it will take some effort
also not only will learning math make it fun, but also will make you excel at it. If you excel in math you get a variety of opportunities like joining olympiads or other things.. personally my first olympiad was pretty hard as expected, the teacher in our highschool said that the preparation for it should have been months like other schools, however me and the other participants from my school only got 2 weeks lmao and as expected none of us got the highest score though i did get 45/75 which i would say was good enough but the next one(which was my last olympiad actually) i actually got ta perfect score in both the written and oral phase!
