    Hi Adam,
Thank you for posting to let us know you are safe. I know everyone, including myself, were very worried about you. The bravest thing you did, in my book, was to admit you had a problem and sought help. You have the best sister and cousin you could have because they gave you the right advice and you are now home safe. Yes! I really enjoyed living your adventure with you, but that ceased when it was obvious something wasn't right. Cherrish the good memories and learn from the bad ones. Thank you for what you gave us and for what, I am sure, is to come. I started fishing when I was 14. I am now 79 and have only been fishing once on my own in all that time because I hate the thought of being on my own on the bank. That first time alone was in fact last year, so doing what you did alone made you a hero to me.
Wishing you all the best for the future and admire you for what you have done to promote fishing with youngsters.
    Top Man.
    Barry from Essex

Had a camper for 15 years, me and the wife spent most of our hols round the Scottish coast fishing, i only went on my own twice and found it very depressing without someone to share it with, get a bigger van and take someone with you i bet you find a world of difference in the experience, keep on trucking Adam.

In a way I'm glad it was this as I thought those 2 guys had robbed you.
Maybe do Europe next year with better planning, booking permits before hand, better sleeping area and someone with you. Thankfully you're home and safe. Take all of this as a learning experience and don't let it get you down 🎣🎣
The happiness you brought those 2 kids made it all worthwhile 🙂

It’s so good to hear you today, like many I’ve checked every few hours to see how you are doing.
Adam you’ve done more than any of us dream of in the last month. You’ve been brave, honest, and above all adventurous.
Get yourself well, eat properly, rest well and you’ll be back on the banks soon.
We all look for more adventures when you’re ready.
Your health and well being come first Adam but you’ll be back. Love ya mate.

Adam. As one Yorkie to another I cannot tell you how much I admire your determination to carry through your adventure. From leaving York, you have battled through some very challenging conditions. Heavy rain, flooded rivers and no fish after travelling hundreds of mile would have sickened off many an angler, but not you. You carried on always with a smile and a laugh. I was most surprised you even got on the ferry to France. Don't beat yourself up mate. You went a lot further than most and I am proud to be able to say you are a Yorkie.

I love your honesty . Give social media a wave goodbye . Your health is worth more than a like or a subscribe . Your family need you and love you . Stop . Go back . Fish for yourself . For the enjoyment . Give up the rat race . It's not worth it . Today I had a round trip of 300 miles to take my grandson on his first fishing trip . The anglers around us chatted to us gave us free tackle and gave us a day that will forever live in our memories. I love your upfront honestly . Stop and look after yourself . Massive respect to you

We'll done for coming back home to recharge the batteries mate. I've been following you for a couple of years now and I've thoroughly enjoyed the way you present your videos and yourself. I'm sorry it all went pear shaped abroad for you but it was a huge project you set yourself to do alone. I could see how those two blokes hovering around you on the Somme were unsettling you, and probably made you realise how vulnerable people are in a foreign country alone. Have a nice break and get back out there when you're ready to start enjoying your fishing again. Stay safe. ❤

Only came across your stuff recently but that video took real guts and is one of the most admirable things I’ve watched on RUclips in a long time. What an adventure, some amazing fish and memories to last a lifetime. Health always comes first and you’re a young’un so many more years to keep making them. Hope you’re back to full strength before too long but take your time and keep talking about it. You’ve also got the best hobby in the world for getting some perspective and meeting a lot of top people. Tight lines from a fellow Yorkshireman 🎣 ❤

Mate, don't beat yourself up over this. Most of us can't find the motivation to spend 20 minutes driving to the local river, but you tried, and you've learned what you ought not to do. I have a rule that I apply, not matter what I'm doing: as soon as I stop enjoying it, I stop. You made the right decision here, and if you ever decide to do something similar in the future, make sure you have places to stop and spend a day or two along the way. Good luck and well done.

First off it's magic listening to a Northern accent....you can't beat it lol
You took on an epic adventure mate, one that I'm sure many of your subscribers dream about. I think you have hit the nail on the head when you acknowledge it's not something to do alone. To have someone who wants to do the same thing and more importantly to have the craic with, or even have a moan at would be essential for most of us. Jeeez I have just started lure fishing primarily for perch and I find it difficult not having someone to experience my couple of hours on the canal with lol.
Keep up the great work....here in the UK we have some of the most beautiful places to visit in the world and we are often guilty of not appreciating it. Go on a UK tour and show us all what we are missing out on.
Good luck with everything you do 👍👍👍👍
