It's intersting how women will stand for their men and when something like this happens. In what happened Ashley. And the Aunt doesn't support the nephew, it's was so much what happens in families. A lot mostly the sense to blame the victim then the person your with. There's so much of weakness in these women who will at any cost stand by the gulity while the innocent suffers the pain of losing communication with their Aunt. Something isn't right and to a point after the struggle trying to make a mends. And trying to find within yourself how to make sense why she had to negotiate her feelings to the side. While her Aunt decide to side with the person they with, while this person allegedly did inappropriate behavior with this young girl when Ashley was 16. Hopefully it didn't go any further then just thr texts that were sent to Ashley at the time. But to have person feel so uneased by the rejection. And to half away around the world to Europe to figure how to navigate this situation. There most have been a lot happeneing. If I'm correct Ashely said to lose communication with her family. This had to make her feel some type of way. Another point needs to be made is this happens to all families and all races. But also just to ooint this out is within the black communities especially young people. At times it feels that allowing yourself to speak on something that isn't easy first shows power when you allow yourself to express how and why you felt about the incident and how you've found the strength to talk to people and the world about your ordeal isn't easy on anyone. But this feeling it's embarrassing or this isn't the place. Maybe from listening to the statement that Ashely made her testimony prehaps is. The only way to get that Aunt to speak to her or just to mend losing her sister had to be hard. And losing Tracie was doublely hard on her heart. But clearly she had to speak, that she too want to talk to her Aunt and just the family period. Maybe Ashley saw the first aeason of The Braxtons like everyone else, and didn't like the division and disenchantment between the sisters. She felt maybe wee can get together and really make this hopefully and better for everybody. I do remember Ashely appeared on the reality show Braxton's Family Values some years ago. And her presences was very interesting and she was actually fun to watch her. She gives a vibe of real relaxed and cool attitude. She seems nice well behaved and just beautiful woman with a real kind heart. And clealy you could see she loved all her Aunts. Even though there was some animosity between Ashely and this Aunt. I hope she will find peace as she said she's returning to the United States.

Actually Ashley Braxton was not the Assistant to Toni Braxton. It was Toni's sister Towanda. But I found this out that Ashley was backup singer for Toni when Toni toured. So she actually sings. Ashley is there nephew. And her Dad is Michael Braxton,Jr.
