Kalau kau budak Malaysia tak tahu hal tutup mulut kau... baca balik komen aku.. kalau tak boleh baca Rumi nantiaku email kau dalam Jawi... kalau Jawi pon kau tak pandai baca.. kau gi hentak kepala kau kat skrin pc supaya jadi manusia sikit...
I dont think this is an insult to Islam in any way. I am a Muslim btw. Her jokes are directed towards OWC which is to most of us Muslims to be an absurd group.
Though i agree with you, for me there is always a line to be drawn even if it was meant to be a joke. I won't make fun of any religion, not even for fun. However, her jokes were directed at misguided people of OWC so yeah, that's funny.
I'm a Malay Muslim yet I understand Malay inside jokes that many non-Malays would not understand. Though there's a line that must not be crossed her jokes are pretty funny and I don't really take offense to any of it. Cos it's the kind of jokes that we Malays get. So chill out lah! Why so stressed? I only get worked out if non-Malays trying to make jokes about the Malay Muslims community when they don't know the kinda jokes that work for us.

Siti is a very talented comedian who thoroughly understands the Singapore-Malay culture and is brave enough to comment on it. It does not necessarily have to mirror her own religious beliefs or morals. First ask yourself whether you have been a model muslim before making strong remarks like that about others.
