This is the first time I appreciated a Filipino action film lead by a woman. I like everything about it especially the cinematography except the cliffhanger in the end. I want more !!! It's somehow a version of Kill Bill with a Filipino twist. Kudos to the main cast and to the director as well.. :)
Hands down, its one of the most refreshing films we've seen on Netflix coming from the Philippines. The cinematography and lighting is already worth the price of admission. Kudos to the entire cast and crew especially the stunt team. It didn't feel choreographed. I'm glad the protagonist played by Cristine Reyes showed proper firearm handling and retention. Good cheek weld, aim and corner slicing makes it easy to believe those shots will connect. None of that typical offhand shooting from the hip (A-Team style) nonsense that we've seen from most male-dominated action flicks. Who cares about the references to certain Hollywood action movies. This film was well executed hands down. Everybody did their homework and the result makes us proud of how far Philippine cinema has evolved. We're excited to see the next installment of this saga.
If there's one thing to make it better they should have people who done the film "The Raid" take a look at this. They should also camera focus on a full body fight (e.g. Tony Jaa's fight scene in "The Protector").

The storyline is unique and unlike before, well there were a couple of attempts but in terms of plot and artistry, this was on a different level. I was happy to see this trailer once again. The movie itself is on the international level, I hope more groundbreaking concepts will be released in the future as well. Christine Reyes is phenomenal in this movie. She shined more as compared to her previous roles as a damsel in distress and as a third party. More roles that highlight the skills and individuality of the actors, please! :)

Yung may mga comments sa baba yung action scenes eh mala john wick etc. Yes, if you are a fan of action movies baka hindi narin original yung action sequences dito sa inyo. BUT I still commend it, the stunt coordinator and cinematographer did their homework well. Na execute nila ng maayos yung scenes, maganda yung angles, nasusundan mo maigi yung fight scenes at walang shaky cam. It felt fast, brutal and authentic. Hindi ko na feel yung pagka choreograph ng mga fights, it felt RAW so I enjoyed it. 👍
