Příběh:
Hra se odehrává ve fiktivní himálajské zemi Kyrat a sleduje Ajaye Ghalea, mladého Kyrati-Američana, který se zaplete do občanské války mezi kyratskou královskou armádou, ovládanou tyranským králem Paganem Minem, a rebelským hnutím nazvaným Zlatá stezka.
Story:
Set in the fictional Himalayan country of Kyrat, the game follows Ajay Ghale, a young Kyrati-American, who becomes caught in a civil war between Kyrat's Royal Army, controlled by tyrannical king Pagan Min, and a rebel movement called the Golden Path.
