I know it's not totally true to a real caplock, but keep in mind that this is my first one. I also made the ambient temperature -100 so that's why it doesn't melt when shot.
A bit late to the video: Overall pretty good. I would classify this as a caplock musket, but considering that the trigger and hammer are directly welded together instead of using a lock or mechanism, this is just its own specimen tbh. I'd recommend studying the trigger mechanisms in muskets, by watching videos and looking at diagrams. Also this musket would probably snap your finger if you shot it considering the trigger jolts back onto your finger since the hammer recoils back from firing.
Yeah I think for my second version I’m going to make one that has a little bag with gunpowder (tiny pieces of dynamite) in it and the bullet being seperate.

nice but instead of using wooden rigid cables for the stock so its not laggy af, use resized sticks and for the metal parts use resized metal rods.

yeah I mean it was my first one and I wasn’t really trying to be totally realistic so
aswell as not having a percussion cap for ignition
I'd say make the explosion happen using the gun and not the bullet, this way the bullet doesn't explode on other electrical things.
