    Thank you so so much for this video, sincerely. I am flying over there in about 2 months, for a month. I am travelling alone and whilst I do speak english and somewhat korean (studiying for the past 3 years), I get anxious in crowded big spaces. I know my brain can keep it cool in the moment, but being away for this long and alone, is a first so I’m guessing my anxiety will be going through the roof. Probably won’t be able to breathe until I finally get to my apartment. But again, this video has taken off some weight off my shoulders, thank you 🥹🫶🏻

    i am a part time wheelchair user and i'm so glad to hear about the info center :)
    i've heard that the public transportation elevators are not always reliable, but i will try to just overcome my worries haha
    traveling as a mobility-limited person is always nerve-wracking, especially in the winter because i can't predict the snow-wheelchair interaction 🥲
    if you can ever make a full wheelchair guide with a local wheelchair user that would be so cool, but no pressure

    • @TastesSEOULGood
      @TastesSEOULGood  2 месяца назад +1

      Thank you.
      My advice is to 100% apply for a new passport right now. It's possible (or even likely) that your airline may not even let you board. And if they do, you may not be allowed to enter the country and will be sent back.
      Sorry for the bad news, but hopefully there is still time for you to get a new passport!

    This is so very helpful. I’ll be visiting S Korea spring 2025 & I have a few questions. I’m from the Inited States, will I only need a K-ETA? Also, I will have prescription medication with me, do you have any advice?

    • @TastesSEOULGood
      @TastesSEOULGood  2 месяца назад

      You will also need the other documents mentioned such as valid passport with at least 6 months validity, return ticket, etc.
      For prescriptions, it shouldn't be a problem. However you should research to find out as some medications are prohibited. I would also make sure the prescriptions are in their original bottle, and have a prescription just in case. If they are simple things (like blood pressure or cholestrol or whatever) then you won't have any problems.

    Or do I need to buy both? I am a little bit confused 😕

    • @TastesSEOULGood
      @TastesSEOULGood  8 дней назад

      They're a bit different.
      T-Money: transportation
      Discover Seoul Pass: admission into different attractions
      Now, the Discover Seoul Pass can be used as a T-money card, as long as you load cash onto it. But if you choose not to get a DSP, then def buy a T-Money card.

    Hey, when i went to Korea last year you needed a Q-Code (which you could still get at arrival but it was more convenient to do it before the flight) is that still needed and if not, do you need anything else? And my country doesn't need a K-ETA but I heard it is quicker to just get one beforehand. Can i still get one?

    • @TastesSEOULGood
      @TastesSEOULGood  2 месяца назад +1

      The Q-code seems to change based off of where you're flying from. I heard someone coming from the UK had to fill one out, but others didn't. I think it depends if you have any outbreaks in your country.
      If you don't need a K-ETA, I don't see the purpose in spending money on one. I'm sure you can though.

      It really is a chore. RUclips has a function that allows me to blur faces pretty easily using their software, but it doesn't look so great. Lately the International Arrivals customs lines have been very long waits..also maybe It’s time to change the sign to ‘non Korean passport holders’ Incheon Airport, instead of the word ‘Foreigners’ like when you arrive in Europe or N.America..’non EU passport holders’ etc

      Sorry, I'm not familiar with a Forex card, so I can't say with certainty.
      We do have a Facebook group though. You could ask the question there and someone may be to answer better.

    Hi! Any idea if there is a luggage weight carrying limit on intercity buses or the KTX trains? I'm bringing a lot of luggage lol.

    • @TastesSEOULGood
      @TastesSEOULGood  Месяц назад

      Nobody is going to weigh them. Space is first-come, first-served, so be sure to board the KTX early to get a spot for your luggage.

      Euros should be fine as they're a major currency.
      Just be sure to exchange all of your leftover Korean Won here in Korea before departing back to Europe.

    Do I have to purchase a bus ticket on top of using a T-Money card? Or if I use a T-Money card I do not need a bus ticket?

    • @TastesSEOULGood
      @TastesSEOULGood  Месяц назад +1

      Do you mean the airport bus? If so - you'll need a separate ticket. If you're talking just about the regular city bus, then the T-Money is your bus ticket.

      There's two different trains that depart from the subway. One uses your T-Money card, while the other requires a separate ticket. It's broken down at the end of this video. Please check it out!
