It is beautiful to see how Goldie elevated the trust she has in you and that says a lot about how you treat your animals. They are so happy and content. Just awesome to see.
Lol!!! Watching Moody play with the side by side was so funny and worrying at the same time. Go look at his face when Brooke drove out of the gate and as Jason was chaining the gate, Moody’s face was so sad that y’all took his toy (side by side) away. The dancing and running of that steer was precious… So good to Goldie eating out of Brook’s hand and picking at Jason’s buttons, she is sure coming along very well. Blessings…..
The mood is playful...nice to see you and Brooke survive the playful steer....and nice to see the Goldie progress....she is becoming almost as tame as Nugget. Holly is such a blessing...and glad the boys are ready for the weather with those thick coats they wear. May God continue to bless and heal Cog Hill Farm.
Moooody is a 2000 pound PUPPY! You guys treat all your animals so well. I wish there where more people out there that respect their animals as much as you guys do. Keep up the great work! Love you guys and your sweet sweet farm!
Man, oh man Moody was scaring me. He was in a mood today that’s for sure all the way to the time you got out of that gate I was never so glad to see you get out of there lol as long as I’ve been watching I’ve never seen him behave like that. Almost like he was just mad you were in his pen altogether. God bless you guys. I’m so glad to see you up and about Brooke. Love you both and let’s not forget Mary Carl.💕💕💕
I love that sweet playful Moody so much. 💓 I certainly see why you both are super cautious around him. When he gets excited and whips that massive head around I hold my breath. Thank you for taking such loving care of those special babies. 🙏🏽💓💐
I was raised on a farm and know that the gentlest bull can cause a hurt on someone with a simple swipe with their head. I understand Brooke and Jason more than you know. It is fun to watch them play but you have to be so careful and stay out of their way.
Yes, please be careful around Moody. He is a huge boy. Y'all take excellent care of your animals. Your channel is very special and I never miss a video. Sending prayers for Brooke to get well soon. 🙏
This city girl was amazed to see that huge steer romping like that! I never would have thought an animal that size could be so agile. Just shows what good shape Moody is in thanks to your fine care of him.
What a special relationship you have cultured with your animals. It’s so special to be a part of watching your farm grow and thrive, and to see your dreams coming true! God bless. Ontario, Canada.🇨🇦🍁
I love watching the animals explore new things and ole Moody is a hoot! Happy Birthday to the Gus Bus! I’m sure glad you were born. Another beautiful day on the farm!!❤
Oh this was so fun to watch Moody playing and running after the side by side. You really don't see how big he really is until he is up near something. Goldie is getting so much better and that is great to see. Stay warm during this cold snap/freeze. We here in South Central Texas are freezing for the next few days.
I have fibro, too, along with psoriatic arthritis & ankylosing spondylitis. 3° this morning, windchill ‐13°, and I am miserable. I've been praying for extra relief for Brooke because this weather is hard for anyone with autoimmune conditions.
@sunkiss me to. And I live in Maine! I also have fibromyalgia, c-spine issues and arthritis. Layers of clothing and I have a scarf (that is heated), a hand warmer (that lives in my purse). Stay warm everyone.
I heard in the news today that Alabama was going to get rain freezing rain and some snow in north Alabama. You guys take care. Prayers for Brooke that she gets the help she needs very soon to get her condition under control. ❤❤❤
Moody was acting like a kid that wanting to play. It was so good to see how Goldie wàs acting around you and eating from Brookes 👌 That is so amazing to watch 😍 Glad that you were able to get the straw to winterize the animals. Stay warm and safe 💘🙏 Love you guys 🙏💕 God bless you three good friends 🙏💕🙏💕
Paris is without a doubt the prettiest goat I’ve ever seen. So happy to see Goldie warming up and socializing. Most of all it indicates that she’s feeling secure and welcome at Cog Hill 40.
Jason you are one hard worker to do all that winterizing alone. I’m glad Brooke was able to drive the side by side. My prayers for complete healing continue.
Extra enjoyable episode today, guys. Moody was hysterical. Always great to see Tucker; the boys in their porch beds... Everyone seemed to be enjoying. Please stay happy and well,. Thank you all for Being. 💖💖💖💖💖
Brooke,I am with you. I wish it was July also. This cold weather hurts my bones. I thought Moody was going to lift the side by side up with you guys in it.😂 That is one BIG cow!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, GUS!!
All your animals are so friendly and use to be handled by people. It’s so nice to watch you guys raise them to show their people side. Moody really got big, didn’t he?
I have been watching your older videos starting from when you went full time on the farm. I watched as you moved out and lived in the camper and build your house and the farm. I have really enjoyed them cause the weather here in Ky has been to cold to get out. I am amazed how much work you and Brooke have done in the past 2 years and how beautiful your farm has become. You all took almost empty land and turned it into a beautiful place. I have enjoyed watching the animals grow and thrive. I don’t comment much but I just wanted to let you know that your videos have given me something to do to keep my mind occupied. Thank you and Brooke for letting us see some of your every day life on the farm and I pray Brooke gets back to feeling better. Also you have a amazing and very smart beautiful daughter.
Oh yes! I remember when you put up the first fencing on totally empty land. Checking the trees. Your pigs you put up…. Don’t recall where or what you did with them? Oh my, yes. The mud you got stuck in…Such powerful memories!! My heart is full…yours must be overflowing!! Hard work and God’s blessings. Wonderful. Thank you.God has put so much love in our hearts for you all and everyone of those precious animals. 🌹❤️
Happy Birthday Gus!🎂🥰🍉🥕🥒! Moody is your "pasture puppy"! Mary Carl is upgrading to an adult BEEP BEEP! Glad you don't have steer horns on the side by side!!LOL! Moody is doing a little side step there! Moody is saying, " Finally, something BIG enough for me to play with"! LOL! Cut it in half and give some to Joe, too! Tie it on the bottom and pull it! Did you get a rash when you cut it down? Jesse was trying to see if he could roll it around like the "big red ball"! They ate all the new young needles on the top. What about the pigeon aviary? God Bless and stay warm!
Goodness Moody was playful today! Perhaps taking the truck into his pasture with hay & straw would be a better option. But he sure gave me a laugh! It’s great to see Goldie warming up to you guys. Stay warm! Nice video.
Watching Moody just tickled me to death. I was hoping that Moody wouldn’t tip you guys but Moody thought that the side-by-side was his new play toy had me laughing so hard it’s good to see Goldie warming up to you guys. I love your farm.
Good morning Brooke and Jason. It’s a nice bright day on the Cog, a lot of smiles Harvested with the Hay Bed and Christmas Tree delivery. You are going to have to mount some Bull Horns on the front of the side by side Moo Man will have fun figuring it out. Brooke and Jason thanks for sharing your wonderful Smiles, hope this is a great week for Cog Hill. It 18 F here in Ottawa Canada 🇨🇦, Sunny no wind so it doesn’t feel that cold. 😀👍👍👍
We will not miss your "show", I'm 81 my wife is younger, been married 60 years. We call Jason, The Mr. Rogers of off grid living, now I can't remember if I ever heard either of you talk about off grid living. Our local grocery store is called HyVee. They take care of our veggie garden and our livestock. Isn't that nice of them? Years ago my wife snored, little lady snores, I whispered in her ear, "don't snore", over and over til she stopped snoring. I haven't heard her snore since. I don't wear my hearing aids to bed. Des Moines, IA, -15 degrees, snow up to your shirt tail, nicest blizzard you could ask for, wish you were here to enjoy it.
Moody playing was soooo cute but also a little scary! He came close to hitting one of you with his head a couple times. Doing things for the cattle will be even easier when you have their area finished with the head gate installed. But the way Mildred acts similar, you might need to install two head gates so you can feed both of them in their head gates and do your chores while they are safely held in place. I'm so glad y'all are careful and aware that it only takes one playful swing of his head and Moody will take you out of commission. Another homesteader I watch got a broken nose when her very gentle milk cow knocked her over and stepped on her face. She was very fortunate that all she got was a broken nose. So keep taking care y'all!
You take your life in your hands when you are with Moody! He looks harmless but he doesn’t know his own strength! He is cute though dancing around! I noticed the Emu Crossing sign never made it to the Emu pasture when Nugget got moved!😅 Stay warm you guys! Blessings from Southern California!🤗💖💖
What a fun video to watch today. All the animals love their cold weather digs and Goldy is a lot friendlier than at first. Just a great day. Have fun all the goat buddies. Big hugs to all. ❤️🥰🥰🥰
Watching Moody playing with the side-by-side reminded me of the time Tex overturned a side-by-side with Lester in it. Of course, Moody doesn't have those long horns to hook onto things, but he does have that massive head to swing around and butt things. He might be a massive baby, but he is also a kind, sweet boy. I'm looking forward to the time Moody and Mildred can share a pasture.
My goodness Moody is a big gulute. Like Lester's steer. Big puppy playing with the side by side. Be very careful accidents happen. Great seeing you out and about Brooke ❤❤❤
I am thoroughly enjoying seeing the animals so frisky due to the chill in the air. Reminds me of children in the South. It was so rare that we experienced a true 'cold for our area' weather front we were always excited. I honestly believe the Cog Hill animals reflect Brooke and Jason's personalities. Very kind, sweet, loving and fun. Goldie has certainly adjusted quickly. They know they are safe, loved, well-fed and truly HOME. They have zero worries. Moody is like a puppy - albeit a 2000 pound puppy with horns. So sweet! (In metro Atlanta our low tomorrow night is predictable to be 15⁰ after a day of rain. Black ice for certain. I know Brooke insured you have plenty of milk and toilet paper. You know how people panic and hit the stores heavy. A few years ago during icy weather a guy jumped on I-20 West and was close to the Alabama border before he could find supplies for his family of 10. Obviously they did not monitor the weather.)
Moody is feeling frisky in the cold weather. He was ready to play. It will be interesting when he and Mildred move in together. I Love the snow, hate the deep cold and 90 degree weather. Nice to see Brooke out and about. God’s blessings.
This was a fun one 😋😋 The animals all had a great time and I think you guys did too. Glad to see Brooke laughing and enjoying the antics of the cows just loving all that's going on.
The difference between Moody & Moo and them being able to interact with each steer differently. Moo from SJH was once a show steer that was trained from a very young age to be led by a harness and lead rope by a young lady for her livestock project(4H/FFA). Moody has had no formal training and has not been led by a lead rope since coming to CHF. That's some of the differences in why Jacob can interact with Moo more than Jason & Brooke can with Moody. They're both very very large steers that can accidentally hurt someone.
Gooood morning Cog hill family 😊. It’s cold here in northern Minnesota this morning as well. -15 with windchills around -35. This has been a very very mild winter for us so far. This is our first cold spell to speak of. I love how you give it 100% in keeping your critters warm ❤. You have blessed animals ❤
Hi Brooke and Jason, boy you really have to be careful of moody when he starts swinging his head, that could be harmful other than that he is a gentle giant. Take care and be safe!! 👍👍❤️❤️🇨🇦
Hello from Grand Rapids Michigan! Loved today's video! Moody has so much personality! So glad to see Goldy coming along! I hope you all stay warm. God bless you and your family.
Jason I live in Central TX. Its 18* and wind chill 2*. ❤ Thanks for sharing your adventures. Great to see y Brooke. Can tell it's a better day from strength in your voice. Moody, Moody, Moody. 🤣🤣🤣 Blessings to Cog Hill 40 🙏🫶🙏🫶🥰. 🥶
Bless your heart, making sure every animal is ready for the extreme cold. Moody is hyper today! When you said Moody would pick up that portable shelter and wear it like a turtle, I had a real laugh-out-loud moment! Your pond is looking great. And I'm happy to see you out and about, Brooke.
🎂Happy Birthday GusBus🎂 Goldie is so pretty I'm glad she's starting to feel more comfortable there. I know the animals are enjoying all the straw you put out for them. I got snowed in in Dallas this morning so I'll be here until it melts I can't go up and down my steps and they don't put anything on the steps here so very slippery. ✌🏻And Blessings
Hi Jason and Brooke. Boy that Moody is playful. So cute ♥️ Goldie is eating out of your hand. Yeah! she is really getting trained and friendly. Goldie figured out ya are kind and ❤ loving. So she's relaxing now. It's cold here in Oklahoma with snow but definitely the Artic air is here. Praying my electric stays on because my central heat has to have electric also to run it but it uses natural gas so guess its electric start.😂 Ya'll be safe and warm 😊
What a crazy day! Mildred, Moody, they are all silly and I love it!!!!! They gave me a good laugh! The Goats lovin' that Christmas tree! Please be safe when the weather sets in!
Wow Moody was wild! He will mellow out but he's always going to have a massive head that he doesn't know will hurt you. It's adorable to see him playing I look forward to Mildred and him sharing a pasture.maybe the smell of straw and hay excites them, they sure Love mobbing you. It's kinda like a chess game!😊🕯🧡💜🧡
So happy to see Goldie getting friendly. Hard to tell them apart. Enjoy seeing all your animals happy to see you. Moddy sure is a big boy. He looks huge next to the beep beep. Hope your temperature doesn't get too low. It was a -1 this morning here in Kansas. Like Brooke I'm no fan of winter. Transplanted Louisiana girl.😢 Stay safe and warm. ❤❤
All the evergreen trees and bushes really tears my arms up too. Hopefully you don’t get temps like we are having in Illinois. We’ve been in single digits for about three days and have a couple more days of it. Right now it’s 2 degrees with wind chill of -11 degrees. Stay warm.
I just loved watching Moody’s ‘puppy’ side! But, I hope the ‘beep beep’ wasn’t too badly scratched 🤭 isn’t he funny with new things in his patch? Loretta, the beep beep....His ‘Head rub mode’ gets engaged, and he turns into a goat 😂😂😂 It was so lovely to see Goldie’s progress with you. Thank you for a wonderful upload God bless you all 🕊🇬🇧
It is beautiful to see how Goldie elevated the trust she has in you and that says a lot about how you treat your animals. They are so happy and content. Just awesome to see.
Yes! Goldie has come a long way.
Yes amazing to witness how an animal relaxes over time .
Now an official COG SQUAD member 😊
I’ve never seen such a playful steer. I love all of your farm animal personalities. 💕
Lol!!! Watching Moody play with the side by side was so funny and worrying at the same time. Go look at his face when Brooke drove out of the gate and as Jason was chaining the gate, Moody’s face was so sad that y’all took his toy (side by side) away. So good to Goldie eating out of Brook’s hand and picking at Jason’s buttons, she is sure coming along very well.
Blessings…..
I am tickled to death to see how Goldie is coming along! That is just so sweet!🌻🌸🐝🦚🐓🦢🦆🦃🐐🫏🐖🐄🦮🐈⬛🤗💕

Playful Moody is no joke. I hadn’t realized how dangerous he is because we only see hiss sweetness.
Moody has more spunk and personality than most people I know. I love him so much.
Man, oh man Moody was scaring me. He was in a mood today that’s for sure all the way to the time you got out of that gate I was never so glad to see you get out of there lol as long as I’ve been watching I’ve never seen him behave like that. Thank you for taking such loving care of those special babies. 🙏🏽💓💐
Moody does the side step really well! He's still just a big ol playful 2,000lb baby! Love it that Holly doing her job of guarding her Humans!
I was raised on a farm and know that the gentlest bull can cause a hurt on someone with a simple swipe with their head. I understand Brooke and Jason more than you know. It is fun to watch them play but you have to be so careful and stay out of their way.
AWWW Moody was so cute bouncing around wanting to play. So good to see Goldie getting more comfortable.
Yes, please be careful around Moody. He is a huge boy. Y'all take excellent care of your animals. Your channel is very special and I never miss a video. Sending prayers for Brooke to get well soon. 🙏

Moody gets so excited!! 🥰❤️ wonderful to see Goldie coming around 🥰
Goldie has come A LONG WAY!! Wonderful to see & good on you all for getting her to trust you. Love to see that.
Everyone is going to be as warm as you can make it. Love how you care for your animals. Stay warm and safe

I know how you feel I have fibromyalgia too and winter is not good
Moo reminds me of a toddler ! He is so tame and he has no idea he can be dangerous. I love that big baby .
Wow!!! I forgot to tell you I am proud of Goldie!!! She is getting so friendly with you guys!!! I attribute that to you guys!!! God Bless Us All!!!

Hi Brooke and Jason, boy you really have to be careful of moody when he starts swinging his head, that could be harmful other than that he is a gentle giant. Take care and be safe!! 👍👍❤️❤️🇨🇦
The animals all seem to be liking the cooler weather! Everyone wanting to play a little bit more.
Love seeing Moody playful.
That was a fun video seeing the animals playing. Glad you are all safe

Some of the animals absolutely love the cooler temperatures, gets them all frisky. With Moody though, it’s like being chased by a mountain, lol.
Oh my God! Moody is a riot. That extra straw will come in handy for the animals during the cold spell. Jason, your laugh is a necessity in my life.

Oh wow, Moody swinging his head like that while tap dancing is a lot, ya'll. That's a whole whole lot! Stay as careful as you can. Please!
I love to see Moody scampering through his pasture ❤😂❤
Can't stop smiling thinking on Moo Man playing with you and Brooke! Take care, stay warm, and know we all love ya'll!❤❤
🎂Happy Birthday GusBus🎂
Goldie is so pretty I'm glad she's starting to feel more comfortable there. I know the animals are enjoying all the straw you put out for them. I got snowed in in Dallas this morning so I'll be here until it melts I can't go up and down my steps and they don't put anything on the steps here so very slippery. ✌🏻And Blessings
You know I you ever need a tow, call the MOOOOODY'S Towing Company.
Good Morning guy’s hope everything is going well with you all ❤
What a crazy day! Mildred, Moody, they are all silly and I love it!!!!! They gave me a good laugh! The Goats lovin' that Christmas tree! Please be safe when the weather sets in!
So glad to see Goldie more trusting and relaxed. Looks like Peaches has lost a bit of weight. I need her secret: eat, sleep, lose weight. 😅
Moody is too funny . I am glad he is playful and not aggressive.
They just love yall being in there with them. So fun to watch!
All your animals are so adorable...love connection everywhere...you all do such a great job with your animals❤ have a BLESSED day.
So so nice to see Goldie warming up like that. She may be getting the idea that you guys are fun to be around.
Goldie eating out of Brooke's hand, Moody being playful, prepping all the straw for warmth, and Happy 3rd birthday 🎂 Gus 🐖.
So glad Goldie is beginning to get closer to you all!❤
All the evergreen trees and bushes really tears my arms up too. Hopefully you don’t get temps like we are having in Illinois. We’ve been in single digits for about three days and have a couple more days of it. Right now it’s 2 degrees with wind chill of -11 degrees. Stay warm.
I love it!! ❤❤ Goldie is doing great! The farm can feel the changes coming!!
Moody thinks the side by side is his Matchbox toy to play with!
I think Holly was even a bit standoffish when it comes to Moody.😂😂🤪playing around LOL
It's fun to see you guys working together again ❤❤❤
Moody is so adorable, and playful. You two do a great job at providing everything an animal could possibly want or need.
Moody vs the Beep-Beep is like playing chicken in a golf cart vs a tractor trailer. The animals definitely love y’all.
I just loved watching Moody’s ‘puppy’ side! But, I hope the ‘beep beep’ wasn’t too badly scratched 🤭 isn’t he funny with new things in his patch? Loretta, the beep beep....His ‘Head rub mode’ gets engaged, and he turns into a goat 😂😂😂
It was so lovely to see Goldie’s progress with you.
Thank you for a wonderful upload
God bless you all 🕊🇬🇧
