I have helped thousands of people pass their B2 First and C1 Advanced exams at no cost, and I would LOVE to keep it that way. Of course, I still have to maintain a full time job while running this channel, and BELIEVE ME, I spend the majority of my free time writing, recording, editing and publishing videos. I love doing this, but I would love it even more if I could do it for a living! If every student that PASSED their exams bought one beer for Bruce I’d be able to do this full time. That would be MARVELLOUS! '... the disgust-level of the audience' brilliant! You're hilarious. Brilliant come-back to some of life's losers investing time in trolling an English learning channel. Cambridge prep can be mind-numbing and you've managed to cheer it up. Bravo Toby!
Hi Toby, this is the best channel about learning Englishever! It's so much fun, entertaining and jam-packed with brilliant Cambridge exam tips. You're doing an amazing job!
You are a true hero! Don’t take personally these haters. I love your charisma and your facial expressions. This is just the way you are and it’s truly wonderful. Actually, this theatrical movements and scenarios makes me memorize better. Thank you so much.
People can be cruel 😟I find the vocabulary you include in your videos super useful, CAE is tough so, your videos are amazing. I hope the audience rises up ❤
What I really appreciate about your content is the emphasis on the overall story behind each and every topic. To me that's very useful to memorize what to do about the task at hand! So I wouldn't say being "overly theatrical" is bad at all 💪 Keep up the great work and thank you so much
thank you for this video!! i really really appreciate all your work, our teacher has been sick for the past few weeks so i felt very unprepared, but because of these videos i feel like i will ace my c1 exam!
@@SMASHEnglish Hi Toby! I have the speaking in 2 hours. The listening went really good, the writing I think I passed it.However in the reading and use of english did not go very well.. I think it all depends in the speaking.I will let you know how it went after I do it.
Hi Toby, I took my CAE exam 2 weeks ago and I really want to thank you for the help you provide with these useful and enjoyable videos. I passed the exam with a score of 197 (3 points short from an A, sadly), and this is mainly thanks to you and your channel. Keep up the good work!!❣❣❣
Toby, those videos that you are making are indisputably startling, but I am yet to receive an answer regarding a specific query of mine. I was hoping that, perhaps, you could place some emphasis on the C2 level of proficiency in English as well, rather than solely the scrutinous B2 and C1 level inspection that you are currently implementing? It is obscure to me if it is attainable for you, I was merely pondering whether it is something that could be striven for, as I think it would be the cherry on top of the cake!😄 Nonetheless, your videos are already seamlessly produced and immaculately cultivate and convey numerous profound insights, insofar as the English language and the cultural nuances that it encompasses are concerned! Heartfelt congratulations and as always, I am avidly waiting for more! Cheers!
A great self-irony video I have just watched. Monica is completely wrong! The way you perform during your videos is the reason why I'm subscribed to this chanel. I don't need just a theory and grammar. They are boring but your make them not so boring or even interesting!
Hello ! You are an exceptionally good teacher, and thanks for your free english content! However , could you please make some videos based on cpe because i will sit this exam in next December?? Have a nice evening!
Hey, Toby, great video! I really like these writing guides for C1 that you make. I have a question about proposals (and this is something I’ve always wondered): What’s the difference between a proposal and a report?? Maybe it’s a dumb question but I swear I cannot see the difference. The only thing I can think of is that a report seems to focus on both positive and negative things and only provides suggestions for the negative ones while the proposal seems to focus only on negative things and on giving solutions for those problems. Is that it or are there more differences? Thanks in advance!
Thank you so much for this great video, Toby! I had my exam today and your videos were really helpful. Who also wrote the proposal to use the old council office?
Really depends on why you're taking the exam and whether you need to demonstrate your English level to an institution. If an institution accepts Linguaskill, and taking that exam will be more convenient for you then go for it!

Who also wrote the proposal to use the old council office?
Hello Toby,
You think proposal, review or report is the easiest to write? Or it doesn't really matter and it deppends fully on topic?
thanks for real I passed C1 w 196
TOP NOTCH!
😂Loved it
Does title and subheading for each section counts to words of the proposal or are they excluded
@@star_doe they count as words!
can you make a video about C1 report?
Definitely will do, but not until after the Summer!
Toby, do you recommend taking the Linguaskill exam instead of the "normal exam"?
