YES!!!! PepsiCo has arrived! My favorite fund! Kinda stinks that AT&T's just a screen now and not a commercial, like before. Love's being given to the theme again, just like in 1986. Also, new PBS logo, even better than the last 2! Also, first instance of "Viewers Like You".

The 1989 ID is my favorite PBS ID. I remember seeing it quite a lot when I was a kid in the late-90s on some PBS programs, so it slightly reminds me of my childhood.

@@TheVintageTVArchiveI was about to be surprised that they would keep running this after 1993, but then I remembered some reruns of Reading Rainbow and Barney episodes from the time kept using that logo instead of the P-Pals logo.

I remember seeing a few epsiodes of "Reading Rainbow" with PBS’s 1984 ID as well. The older logos started getting phased out completely at around 2004 or 2005 here in KY on KET.

@@TheVintageTVArchive I remember seeing a PBS Kids program break video from around 2002 that had Reading Rainbow funding credits from the late 80's, early 90's. i'm guessing it also had the 1989 ID. Also, on the subject of the P-Pals, PBSfanatic [now known as Peebs] uploaded a 2004 program break that had a Reading Rainbow funding credits with the P-Pals ID following it. I'm guessing the P-Pals were still pretty well used along with Dot and Dash until around 2001[?] on reruns of old shows [or episodes of currently running shows at the time, like Barney]. This must've been one of the very few exceptions.

He also composed for ThunderCats and SilverHawks, both from Rankin/Bass.

I claim to remember some PBS funding credits from the late 80s-early 90s that included Duracell and Mentos. The Mentos one just said "and by Mentos" and showed a picture of a pack of Mentos. Does anybody know what TV show that was?
