The allied armed forces from the USA, GB and Romania were at the parade because the forces of these three countries are the most numerous of the NATO allies currently stationed in Poland.

Answering your question about why these foreign countries were invited. UK, US and Romania have their Brigades stationing in Poland as a part of NATO Eastern Flank defence doctrine. In every country on the Eastern Flank there are 3 different foreign brigades. Polish Brigade is stationed in Romania. Now Im very thankful to UK for being with us, supporting as not only with military but also technology (Sky Sabre and Ceptor defence systems, Brimstone antitank missiles and of course Type-31 Frigates). Our alliance is strong.
Blue and yellow pennants denote a specific unit of the Polish Army. They do not symbolize Ukraine. Many Polish units have blue and yellow in their colors. Many mistakenly think that it is Ukrainian.
I attended it. It is in Warsaw, along Vistula River. Every year on August 15th. This was so hot, and the soldiers were wearing the full uniform. This ones you said they look like Sherlock Holmes additionally wore the capes. This was highlanders unit.
they are carrying different flags, because that’s their unit symbol. the first one is commander, the commander is followed by a standard-bearer, and then guys from their unit
Yes, one of the UK's unit was in attendance. UK is called 'Wielka Brytania' (Great Britain) or 'Anglia' (England). Poles know the difference between England, Scotland and Wales, and they will say Scotland or 'Wales' if that is what they mean, but when they say 'Anglia' they usually mean UK, not England. I have never heard anyone in Poland call UK 'Zjednoczone Krolestwo' - not saying that it does not happen, but it sure does not happen often.
When using a full name, then sure, we will say 'Zjednoczone Królestwo Wielkiej Brytanii i Irlandii Północnej', however the Commission for the Standardization of Geographical Names Outside the Borders of the Republic of Poland (Komisja Standaryzacji Nazw Geograficznych poza Granicami Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej) recommends using the name 'Wielka Brytania' and this is the short name officially used in Poland.

They trace their origins back to the Austro-Hungarian Empire and later became an important part of the Polish Armed Forces, with a strong identity rooted in the mountainous Podhale region of southern Poland. Here's more about them: 1. Historical Background Formation: The origins of the Strzelcy Podhalańscy date back to the early 20th century. The unit was formally established in 1918, shortly after Poland regained independence, as part of the reorganization of the Polish Army. The unit drew on the traditions of Hutsul Riflemen and other mountain infantry units that were active in the region during the Austro-Hungarian period. Podhale Region: The unit's identity is strongly tied to the Podhale region, which is located near the Tatra Mountains. The Podhale Rifles' symbols, customs, and traditions are deeply influenced by the culture of the Górale (highlanders) of this region. 2. Distinctive Features Uniforms and Symbols: The Podhale Rifles are known for their distinctive uniforms, which incorporate traditional highlander elements, such as ciupaga (a traditional mountain axe). Their emblem often features the crossed ciupaga and rifles, symbolizing both their connection to the Podhale highlanders and their military role. Mountain Warfare: The unit is specially trained for operations in mountainous and challenging terrains. This includes skiing, climbing, and survival skills in extreme conditions.

These soldiers in these oeleryns and with a feather in their hats are a formation of Polish Vijsks - mountain troops! From the Tatra Mountains. An exceptionally dangerous army! They have such traditional, as folk costumes - capes and hats.
The helicopters you saw - these were Mi-24 "Hind", soviet design, and AH-64E longbow Apache helicopters. Poland will recieve 96 (!) of Apache`s to replace Mi-24`s Jets you saw were F-16`s and F-35. Poland is getting 36 of F-35`s. Tanks you saw were Leopard 2 PL, Abrams FEP and SEPv3, K-2 Black Panther - all in service. US presented some Bradley`s as well, Romanians deployed Gepard tracked AA guns. Infantry fighting vehicles and armored wheeled transports are: KTO Rosomak (wolverine), wheeled one, and Borsuk (badger) tracked one. Also some artillery (tracked) - Polish made Krab (crab) and Homar (lobster), and recently bought korean K-9 Missile artillery and AA systems - Patriot, Himars, Langusta etc.. Polish Army Day is August 15 because it is the anniversary of the Miracle on the Vistula, i.e. the defeat of the Bolsheviks in 1920. This year it was a classic show of force, i.e. apart from the Polish army, there were also NATO allies. Don't try to send such a signal to Russia because we are not alone.
The colors on the antennas are not the Ukrainian flag; they represent the unit from which the vehicles originate. Cheers and greetings from Poland ⬜🟥😎✌

In fact, they may be a bit old, but no less terrifying 😈☠️
Dziękuję.
All units have their specific flags so you were right that wasn`t an Ukrainian flag.
Our allies probably took apart of the march for invitation. There are some NATO troops in Poland. We have NATO HQ in Poland, and our troops are training together with our allies.
1:20 that's a mountain brigade, there are kind of "regional" units in polish army, they usually have different ceremonial uniforms

They are representatives of currently statnioned NATO troops on territory of Poland.
As the US Vth Corps command is now in Poland, so expect US troops every year on that ceremony :)

Poland will recieve 96 (!) of Apache`s to replace Mi-24`s
Jets you saw were F-16`s and F-35.
Also some artillery (tracked) - Polish made Krab (crab) and Homar (lobster), and recently bought korean K-9
Missile artillery and AA systems - Patriot, Himars, Langusta etc..
Lots of goodies ;)
I were there, nothing like standing 2 meters away form roaring Abrams, 70+ tonns of steel moving 70 km/h :D lot of noise ;)
