Really nice to see this video. I competed in this event. This brings wonderful memories. Iha Mitsutada Sensei is one of my teachers...

Cool moves and awesome techniques I just wish I could have stayed in karate all those years ago in 2011 cuz watching you do all these fancy tricks and awesome maneuvers is actually pretty amazing I know that stuff may be old and you know old school but it's actually pretty cool sweet moves and awesome techniques 🥋👊😉👍🥋

At the 45 second mark he changes position without moving forward in this kata . In other videos of this kata he goes forward a full step? Why the change in enbusen

I saw that two white flags went up and the table raised with a red one... Who's the winner 😳? How many judges? Sorry for asking but I do another style of MArt ✌️

I didn't notice it at first as well. look more to the right, there another flagger. it was a tie & the table guy called red for the win on the tie breaker. The red won. But I like the white flag guy better..o well.

Both very nice forms. But I have to agree with the red-win. Good power and stance with both. I was able to visualize opponent with both. The gentleman in the white Gi (red) had a bit of an edge with linear thrusts and generally maintained a full grip on his weapon. (look for these)
