Sir, I feel very bad for myself and my parents who enrolled me in a very expensive coaching Institute and I am scoring in single digits and even in negatives sometime, I hate myself even more when I see my dad working hard everyday. I joined in October last year syllabus is almost complete in the coaching, few batches which have started a month ago are scoring more than me, It's so discouraging . I don't know what am I doing wrong.

This channel is one of the best to learn basics of Quants and LRDI. I was weak in Quants and watching all the theory videos and practice problems helped me a lot. I did not subscribe to any classes, just this channel and a test series. I managed to crack CAT 2022 and I am currently studying at IIM Ahmedabad.

Bhaiya, I gave jee exam this year, i got around 80 percentile. I am jain so i am getting Cse in a jain minority college in solapur, Maharashtra. To be honest, i wanted college in pune because of the exposure that it provides. I am getting a tier 3 college in solapur. Placements are average. Highest on campus was 12.5 LPA in 22-23 and 14 LPA in 21-22. Average packages for cse students are around 5-6 LPA. Some students got 35 Lpa off campus also.
Bhaiya, i want to go into entrepreneurship in long run. My mind works good in tech so i want to go into a tech startup or something related to it. After graduation, i will do job in a good mnc/ startups for some years then i want to do something on my own.
Bhaiya, pls can you guide me for this. My college will start from 21 aug 2023. I have some options in my mind.
1. I should do my engineering, also learn various skills, make networks, do projects, etc. and grab a good placement by off campus or on campus (i want good placement because i come from a middle class family, i want to earn some money first, and later from industry experience starting something on my own )
2. Learn skills and do other things, and in 3rd year start preparing for GATE cse. And crack it during 3rd yr. So i can get final year. ( I thought of gate, because IITD is hub of entrepreneurship. I personally know some people who are entrepreneurs, but my doubt is this- should i prepare for gate? If my final motive is entrepreneurship? Or Gate is for research studies?)
3. Do engineering, maintain good cgpa, learn skills and other activities. Get a good placement by off campus, then after some years give CAT exam and do executive mba from IIMC. ( i thought because i want to do entrepreneurship in long run)
4. Do all the stuff and later do MS from abroad instead of masters in India.
Bhaiya, pls can you tell? Is Mtech from IITD good option if i want to become an entrepreneur in long run? Will i get enough time to learn this in IIT?
I know how it feels after graduation when you can't decide what should you do, see you can't acquire entrepreneurship, it comes with experience - solving a problem is what makes you an entrepreneur. You should first concentrate on whether you would wanna move towards Engineering or a Management side, clarity is required here and also it doesn't matter where you study from, all comes if you develop skills, yes premier college helps in networking and mentoring but since thats not the cause you should first explore engineering,since you've joined the following, by the time you reach 3rd year you would know whats better for you, you're at pretty early stage. For your entrepreneurial mind, I would recommend on finding problems and learning how to tackle them, a true entrepreneur eliminates those problems which comes with experience, start observing them and don't worry about the outcomes, do some projects and stuff, you'll already have a head start that many. All the best for your future and enjoy your college life, it never comes back!
