- This took an unfathomably long time but I’m so glad I managed to finish it. There will be no part two as I think I covered practically everything, sorry if I missed stuff but yeah. I can’t wait for you to see it! This is not cannon and shouldn’t be taken as cannon if that wasn’t already obvious. This is so sad and well put together. You characterize Dabis character so good than I’ve ever seen. The designs amazing. Every part of the todoroki family was discussed. His habits with the tapping, his thing about suicide, how endeavor searched for him, the ending, natsuo longing for his brother, I love how you didn’t make dabi immediately regret as he tends to push care. I love how you put how he used toga for his end goal and not the fanon sibling bond, how flawed the heroes are with the students on battleground, you captured all their personality so well, this is everything I want in reaction, the improvement in ur videos is insane, Omg I love you 💔
THANK UOU SO MUCH YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW MUCH THIS MEANS TO ME. I’m so glad I was able to characterise them realistically. Honestly it really bugs me when they make his character weird and romantic - because that’s just not his storyline. I really tried to put as much effort in this as I could and I’m glad it payed off. I really wanted a clear reaction with no reference to the fanon stuff. His character embodies tragedy and I want people to realise that. This comment is why I made this video.

Holy... I can't even put into words how much I love this video, but I'm going to try. The way you characterized the characters was incredible, although I am not a big fan of MHA, I love Touya as a character and how he evolved throughout the series and I could see it well in this reaction (how you captured his mindset and overall character), that fact alone shows that you managed to capture their essence quite well. Then your designs are beautiful and that makes watching the video an easier task; Personally, I can't watch a video when it seems like they made the characters with their feet /srs. The videos you chose cover the topic of the Todoroki family very well, and that is something that I see that many people cannot do well. This is probably the best reaction video I have ever seen, holy cow. The nuance of the characters, their designs, their behavior. It's all so in-character, It's amazing. I can tell you really love them all or at least took time to understand why they behave the way they do. This made me smile so much. I honestly think it makes sense to put them in a certain order so that they can find out things vaguely and there’s build up, tension. For example the “must be handy to be able to use ice too” was my way of foreshadowing the whole ice quirk thing. It felt good to give some other creators light as well because there are so many hidden gems it’s crazy, also sometimes content was sparse so I had to make do! That last edit really struck my heart broooo, as someone who is still dealing with depression and has been getting therapy for almost 4 years now, it really is important. I'm not fully healed yet but with those four years I believe I have gotten better. :DDDD
I’m so glad to hear that your mental state improved 🥹 depression is horrible. I think that conveying these sort of things even if they aren’t fully canon is important, implications of things like this shouldn’t go unnoticed. Especially irl. Dabi’s character embodies the child being failed by their parents trope beautifully. He also shows various symptoms of PTSD, Mania, depression and a disregard for his own life. AND NOBODY SEEMS TO NOTICE. when making this video I tried my best to research his habits and remind myself of the little details about his character. For example his newer, white outfit is made to resemble that of traditional burial clothes, giving us the implication he intends to die in battle.
His character is not about romance, cold-heartedness or his bond with is comrades, it’s about how Touya Todoroki was failed my hero society and by the man who was supposed to be 2/1 hero - his FATHER leading him to turn what was left of his gruelling mental state to become “Dabi”. His entail coldness is something of a facade, his true nature comes out after his reveal. He is emotional, yet doesn’t feel. The fact he was literally MUTILATED at THIRTEEN- it’s just so tragic. I really wanted to go into depth about Dabi as a character and I’m glad I satisfied people, including yourself. The suicide prevention edit was my way of giving the people watching this a chance to think, feel and truly experience his character. A message to those who have struggled with anxiety, depression, suicidal thought and tendencies that you are not alone.

This is an honour, I just wanted to make a fresh reaction that people (including myself) could feel happy with. I tried to include everything and included a couple details. I honestly get annoyed when videos are unorganised, you need to have balance in these things to make the best effect.
Even though him being suicidal is not inherently canon, it’s something heavily implied. Or something along those lines at least. And it’s truly a great shame nobody ever seems to talk about that aspect of him because it’s one of the factors of his character that make it so tragic. It looks tad out of place at the end but I left that video out of respect and also to spread awareness. In actuality, another comment told me about their dealings with suicide. It’s a messed up taboo which nobody should suffer through. Not to mention September, as the video said, brings suicide prevention month. I saw this as a good opportunity to make people think at the end and tie it all together. As much as I would’ve wanted for Touya to have a different ending, this factor just makes it all the more poetic and powerful. I hope you have a wonderful night/day

How they saw he was using Toga for her quirk instead of putting the siblings bond type edits because that’s not what Is was. Like legit the last one hit hard, I had seen the manga panels where Shoto asks Touya what his fav food was, and I did cry, I broke, but the last one really hit hard, because I had a friend who attempted, and I didn't know until she came back to school, we had a in class presentation in French, and it was getting real close to the day we had to present, she hadn't been at school for a couple of days, but that was normal, considering how she often just decided she wasn't going to school. But when she came back to school, I'd asked her, she told me she was in the hospital for attempting, and I just told her that I was glad that she was alive.
If you're wondering, she's fine, this happened in 10th grade, I'm in freshman year of college, I saw her plenty in 11th grade, and we occasionally saw each other in 12th grade

Firstly I love your ocs so beautiful especially the new designs‼️‼️ this video was beautifully made as well I love this so much, it’s not completely canon and it doesn’t have to be but I’d say it was close enough and made in a way that pulls at your heart strings and brings a tear to your eyes, especially the ending. I love how you portrayed the whole family and how you showed most if not all aspects of Touya and his relationships. I can’t wait to re watch this and find things I’ve missed!! (My only criticism?? Is the text is rather fast and there’s a lot of it so it’s a little difficult to read all at once and in the time given but apart from that and even considering that I absolutely love this video and applauded the effort you put into creating it! 💗)
