    I have just seen the bk 938 in Amazon at 70 $, crazy difference as I have bought two units at 24.99 $. Amazon is getting very expensive every day. As for the units I still haven't use them.

    Nozzles from ERSA soldering station should fit. "MultiTip C25" I think so. Well, or from "Minor".

    Hi, do you think I can power it with a regular 12V, 1A DC power adapter? If so, I would buy just the soldering iron without the solder station. The soldering iron alone is about $6 on ebay.
    Thanks in advance.

      you really shouldn't, that would peg the element to full heat capacity and possibly damage it. Save up a bit more and buy a Hakko clone

      Then, How about a 9V? This way I wont go to full capacity.
      Do you have a link to a cheap hakko clone?

      I really don't recommend going with this unit, more trouble than it's worth. Get one of these clones and you'll thank me later www.ebay.com/itm/371091694885

      Thanks for the links, I took a look to both of them, but I wonder if a simple Weller mini soldering iron 12W or 15W ($16) would be better? I would prefer a simple and small thing than a whole station and pencil holder (too difficult to take out to use and to store it back).

      @ArsenioDev  8 лет назад

      +MrDutchgaming123 No, I'd really recommend something like this since it has some temp control and works with the Hakko tips. www.ebay.com/itm/401023752033
      It's a whole $15 cheaper too!

      +MrDutchgaming123 I've got the Hakko fx888D as my daily driver, bit expensive but COMPLETELY worth it.

    BK-938 SMD soldering station tested
    With the BK-938 you get a cheap second soldering iron for easily solder your SMD components on their copper surfaces. But is this soldering iron worth its twenty euros?
