one more nice review. just one point of contention, I think boxed cigars are pressed in that shape for quite some time before being boxed for final shipment. At least I remember it that way from the old Rocky Patel video.

Brijesh Kartha Thanks for the feedback Brijesh, my bad I'm afraid.
Doing some further research, I found that box-pressed or (square pressed) cigars are usually packed in two layers in a wide flat cigar box that has an attached hinged lid and is usually made of paper covered wood or cardboard.
The sides of the cigars will be gently pressed (so the cigars become squarer) prior to packing which I guess can vary depending on the brand.
This occurs because the box is marginally narrower than it would otherwise be to hold the same number of the round varieties. This ensure they are tightly packed and reduces the size of the box.
